Ok this is the list I played against my friend who was using me to test his 25 point list for the recent warmachine tournament (our LGS was doing the 25/35/50 version)
Kaya (*6)
Feral 9
Woldwyrd 5
Lotf 3
Full Ravagers + UA 11
Totem Hunter 3
He was running
Harbringer (*5?)
Repenter 4
Full flameguard + UA 8
Knights exemplar (5?)
Crusader? (pow 18 mace with crit fire and an open fist) (6)
Min unit of the heavy cav (7?)
Now before I give you guys the results of this, I'd like to know how you guys think I did. We're both about the same skill level.

Get rid of the Ravagers. There is no point in running infantry in a low point Kaya list unless it is Shifting Stones. To be honest, you are going to get rolled. I would be suprised if you lived past the 3rd turn unless you are running the entire time.

Well, he was so worried by the ravagers and the totem hunter that he oriented his spearmen towards them and charged my fww with the cav, who failed the chagre. Next turn my fww chucks the cav into the crusader and 4 spearmen, the LOTF shoots harbringer, who is now in LOS, kills 4 knights exemplar and her with thresh, and nearly kills her, leaving my woldwyrd to finish the job.

He let you get LOS and range to his caster with the LOTF and the Woldwyrd? Interesting. I don't know much about Menoth, but I would have thought for SURE he would have taken a Revenger for the arc node. Rebuke seems too good not to arc.
By the way, what did pKaya do to help you win this game?

What are you raising your brow at?
I always get scared when people raise their eyebrows at me. It's marginally less scary when I know I know what I'm talking about -- so in this case .... it's marginally MORE scary :D

I was raising my brow at the description of the game and how it went. I don't get opponents like that. I didn't think they existed short of someone brand new to the game.

That's about as friendly as a game can be... someone presents a caster for you to shoot at. :)

Well to be fair to him, harbringer is incredibly hard to hide with her large base at 25 points. the crusader was in the way but it was knocked down when a knight on a horse was thrown into him. And my LOTF was pretty far away, he had to walk up 6 inches and shoot 10 inches to shoot at her.

So, where did pKaya come in?

She hit Harbringer with Spirit fang and gave the warpwolf +2 mat against the cav. That's literally all she did the entire game.

Wow guys, first of all I would like to congratulate Wolfman on winning his battle against a strong caster. I would also like to repeat Dice's comments that Kaya is not that terrible. As for your list, there are some things which could possibly be done better. These are just ideas, and are probably constrained by what you actually own.
pKaya
Feral- this guy is gold
Gnarlhorn- +2" charge, and +2 attack rolls. Plus this is a good defensive beast
Gorax- another beast, and it buffs the others
Tharn bloodtrackers- operate independently and very capable
Blackclad- +2" charge range, anti infantry spray
LOTF- People know who this guy is...
I would play this list with the Gnarly and Gorax on the defensive right at the back with Kaya. The Feral will keep charging in and beating up opposing jacks/beasts. Bloodtrackers will run up a flank as a threat until you feel it is their time. LOTF goes up the opposite flank. Blacklad stays in the middle.
So, Kaya obviously doesn't do nothing. Gnarly and Gorax animi can be cast when needed, soothing song as needed. If a heavy is out the front by a clear margin spirit fang can be used to help the feral. The biggest part of the plan is Spirit Door to drag back the Feral back for another round.
