Type: Skirmish (1 caster, 35pts)
Kommandant Irusk (*6pts)
* Decimator (9pts)
Assault Kommandos (Leader and 9 Grunts) (8pts)
Great Bears of Gallowswood (5pts)
Widowmakers (Leader and 3 Grunts) (4pts)
Winter Guard Mortar Crew (Leader and Grunt) (3pts)
Man-o-war Drakhun (with dismount) (5pts)
Yuri the Axe (3pts)
Pretty standard list, i'm also trying AKs in MKII for the first time. Starts with a strong AD line, has great bears and drakhun for flankers and AKs for a center line.

I really like it. Tell us how the decimator goes.

I'm just going to throw this out here as something somewhat on topic, though not directly pertaining to this list: I think that a decimator could do very well as a marshalled jack in an eIrusk list, specifically under a Koldun Lord. With fire for effect up, the Koldun lord feeding it power booster and its regular marshalling, you can do one fully boosted shot and a second one with boosted attack or damage for one focus from eIrusk per turn. That being said, you would need to take a second jack for Irusk's battlegroup, or waste 5 jack points and a nice bond.
That being said, I like this setup. With energizer (though an expensive spell), on certain turns this jack can be pretty surprisingly fast, and the 1" pushing could be just the ting your manhunters/Yuri/Great Bears(?) need to get a lane to what needs dying.

I'm interested to see how the Drakhun does in this list. I have just stopped putting him on the table, recently, because he always disappoints me. I am determined, however, to eventually learn how to play him under mkii.

I won. Drakhun tied up my opponent's warp wolf for 2 turns and put some hurt on him in the process. i faced an almost all stealth circle list so most of my shooting was useless for half the game. the AKs didn't do anything except on irusk's feat turn and man they were fantastic that turn. killed everything they touched.
The decimator had no arms by the time it saw combat, morvahna and the warp wolf had charged it on the last turn of the game. i had great bears in charge range of morvahna and irusk in shooting range of her. I had the decimator headbutt her to the ground and the great bears wiped the floor with her.

It's for this reason, I play Warmachine.

Many apologies for being completely unhelpful. I only now realized you were playing with prime Irusk.
