Some questions came up during playtesting. I'm awaiting the opportunity to post on the Field Test site.

KSB leader has:
Self Sacrifice - if this model is disabled by an enemy attack, you can choose a non-disabled model in this unit within 3" of this model to be destroyed. If another model is destroyed as a result of Self Sacrifice, this model heals 1 damage point.

1. With the new unit formation rules, when a unit leader is boxed, another model in the unit becomes the new leader. So can the KSB leader instead of utilizing Self-Sacrifice, instead be relocated to another one of the models in the unit? (I utilized the new formation rules to relocate my leader away from the Titan that just killed him via charge ;))

If so, it'll allow us to control the location of the Aura, either by keeping it intact, or shifting it due to the new formation rules.

2. The KSB leader has no weapon. If the unit gets a Charge order, can the leader Charge then trigger his special action Aura or must he run (only)?

I also find it interesting the SSE has a higher MAT that the regular Scribes.

I have no idea about #1 but #2 won't work because even if he had a weapon he can't use a star action during a charge. You can only use melee attacks (or star attacks) during a charge, thus a star action is not an option.

wow, that's a funny sight.

ugh~ dying now... here, take this giant stone, let me throw it at you.

I think number 1 is perfectly legal since unlike grim salvation you can choose to do it or not.

The new leader does not pick up the stone. The Stonebearer is an officer, so if you don't sacrifice a pawn, it goes away.

Actually, looking at it, the KSB is not an officer? That is a surprise and may very well be a typo.

I asked the same thing on the rules forum. The stone carrier is not an officer. Self sacrificeis to prevent you from losing all the fury that WAS in the stone.

The last line of Fury Vault is
If this model is destroyed and replaced by a Grunt in its unit, place its fury points on the new Leader. so I think it's either a typo or just a way you can choose to move the stone about.

Yup. It is rather strange. The Elder is an officer, but the stone bearer is not.

An Infernal verified (http://privateerpressforums.com/showthread.php?t=591), if the stone moves you keep the fury but the aura goes away instantly.
