I have to say (and you know how much I love 40K) that NQ is definitely a better value than White Dwarf. There are lots of helpful articles on both playing and painting. The advertising of new models is kept to a minimum as well which is really nice. The only real comparison is that you may have to skip stuff you are not interested in as it covers Hordes and the IK RPG. With occasional mentions of Voltron and other PP games. But overall its a very good gaming magazine. I suggest just picking up a single copy at your local gaming store and see what you think before buying a subscription. But I will probably get one myself in the future.
Hey Grey got a Question for ya..I have been looking at picking up NQ. Is it worth it for a newbie? Or will most of the stuff in it be a bit too deep for me at this stage of my learning about Warmachine? I hear good things about it from the Forums..but I suspect a little bias is involved there. So I figured I would ask someone who's played both 40k and WM.
@ Grimm - Shot you the pm, but the Lord of Feasts and the Wolves of Orboros bud.
@ JediNate - No problem on the comments, it was nice stuff. I would be interested in that issue's information if you have it bud.
What were ya looking for on this link?
Hey man, first off thanks for all the nice comments on my terrain, it's always rewarding to have people appreciate your hard work. Secondly I used a tutorial from No Quarter #5 to make the obelisks. However if you don't have that issue just let me know and I'll happily share the steps in which to make it.
