I can not say enough about pHex. Death March means your nihilators or gatormen posse will have MAT to hit high DEF on average rolls and on a feat...

pHex is also decent with a good feat turn and with incindiarii they can make the feat turn start way easier.

if you run eHex then I say Incindiarii. If you run Rasheth i say Slingers. If you want a range warbeast that is NOT Mammoth take cannoneer.

eMak is pretty solid with archidon, Glad, KARN and krea. keeps you safe from long range shooting and can caster assassination quick
