Need some writing help...

HI, all. I'm looking for one or more experienced writers/GMs to bounce some ideas off. I am a fairly decent writer...but that is all. I really can't reach my potential without a proverbial "wall" to bounce my ideas off of.

I am trying to write a small campaign/setting of sorts for my gaming group. Right now it takes place in a large mining town on the banks of the Steel River Lake between midway between Highgate and Steel Water Flats. The PCs are going to investigating the disappearance of the son of the founder of the mine. The PCs won't have much info to go on but some digging will net them that the disappearance is linked with others that occurred in the mine which will eventually bring them into conflict with Cephalyx that control tunnels deeper in the mountain.

I have two files that I can email to anyone that wants to help, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would totally throw in a political opponent. A human challenger, either someone else with a legitimate claim to the position, or an underworld menice that is trying to subvert the government to his will. And I would have them be completely innocent in this case, just as something to throw the players off the actual trail ;)

Thanks. I was already going to include the criminal element in to form of two local gangs, but i could definitely shove the PCs in that direction a bit more. If you want a copy of what I'm working on PM me your email and will send it out. I think I am going to have flesh out the victim more to weave him into political and under world scene, maybe do up one of those charts PP has in Port of Deceit.
