I want Krueger, but I suspect Kaya will be the next. Maybe Laris graduates to Heavy Warbeast.

If we get La Kaya, I'm almost sure she'd be our cavalry caster (riding Laris). That's seems to be the way double epics are trending. Frankly, I'd prefer another Kaya... but I'm not expecting it considering Kreuger's significance in the story.

"Oracle of the Apocalypse" sounds awesome. If he were to get that, and they made him go off on a tangent, doing away with lightning and introducing new elements, like fire or darkness, that would be great! This could cement this title further with events unfolding around this anthanc and his relation with Blighterghast.

so he would go from the Stormwrath to the Stormlord to the Oracle of the Apocalypse. That would truly be a double epic worthy name. Legen-dairy!

On a side note, I am hoping for a fire type warlock or even an ice one.

just my two cents in:

Baldur: if he was to go "legendary" i think it would be cool if he found a way to put his soul in a somewhat human sized construct it would make for a cool model amd the abilities and spells would be cool.

kaya : if kaya does become legendary why stick with going the same as or just like the others and go calv..even though i think it would be cool...but why not shake it up a it have kaya and laris fuse...or laris dies sending kaya into a wild frenzy unleashing this beastly soul she has showing how she could attach to beast like no other...i personally would want circle ranged based caster for calv.

krueger: is the most likely he has the most in the story but who knows i personally am not looking forward to that one unless done really cool...the theme with him is storms right? ( you dont say!! ) i know i know so what about going with the whole apocalypse theme and go pure spell caster...i mean lava earthquakes...lightning hurricanes floods u name it just a crazy **** storm.

two things. first, wow. thats a ****ing sweet model. I want one soooo bad now.

second, I think its almost garaunteed that Kreuger goes epic next. Look at Domination. Baldur does his super charged crevasse, and he explains to one of the other druids (cant remember who off the top of my head) that that will force the remnants of the Cryx force with the Athanc to the surface, and Kreuger's warband is nearby. If the books stick with their trend of having one or two major fronts to a book, thats clearly where Legion will be, and it would make a whole lot of sense for Kreuger to come out of it with the Athanc, especially after so many books of us getting our **** pushed in by anything and everything. Because his main storyline is trying to deal with the problem of the dragons, it makes sense, and would give us a shot at introducing Lortus as a warlock, you know, the blighted omnipotent. The Skorne ancestors prophecied something terrible happening if the Circle succeeded in their plans, and I think that us having a win or two under our belts, an Athanc, and some bargaining chips with the dragons other than Ethrunbal and Toruk would put us on about the same level of world-shaking plot power as most of the other factions.

I think the "something terrible will happen if Baldur succeeds" is more that the Skorne are going to invade Ios, which also happens to be where the Ret is moving Nyssor, and Cryx is moving the Athanc nearby. The Skorne are going to wander into at least four different armies on their way to Ios (eKrueger's, Cryx, Retribution, Legion, and I think some trolls were planning to move there too), and I doubt it's going to be pretty for them.

i was thinking about kaya going double epic, she loses Laris, goes insane and never wants to deal with possibly caring about a living warbeast again so she only deals with constructs, mainly woldwrath. She could have an ability like eButcher does where you roll for your fury limit each time, but i have no idea how that could work. No idea about feat or spells either

Legendary(3) Kaya: As part of the healing process, Laris becomes part of her again. She gains the ability to go incorporal. Her feat gives Forced Eveolution to all Living Warbeasts under her control.

Legendary(3) Kruger: Is nuts enough to sink a shard of Althanc into his heart, and still manages to control it. Has a permanent lightning cloud around him, giving Concealment, and a Str 10 hit Elecro hit as soon as you come within 3" of him. Feat is Lightning Storm for his whole control area.

Really, at this point I'd kind of like to see a sort of 'Stormking' Krueger. It's the next logical extension for him to get yet even bigger in the fluff. But at the same time, I'd like to see a warlock that does something other than wind, lightning, and earth - give me a cold, fire, or even corrosion based caster.

I could have sworn that it was already announced that Kaya was going epic again. Maybe I'm confusing it with Lylyth already being announced. I agree from the story perspective it would be Krueger, who is my favorite to play, but I'm thinking in my gut it's going to be Kaya. If they want to go mounted they could either way, and I wouldn't say she had a 'small' part in this story, I would almost say that this was an awakening for her. Realizing the reality of her relationship w/ Morvahna, and having Baldur come back, even the brewing relationship w/ Grayle. I think there is as much there to build on for her new epic as there is for Krueger.

If she does go epic, I agree w/ the poster that talked about Forced Evo for the battle group as a feat. But I think you might see her have Respawn, not unlike Saeryn, or perhaps that spell exactly. I think she'll definitely be mounted, and on Laris would be very sweet. The real question is what is the version of Spirit Shift/Spirit Door gonna be? Perhaps a spell that allows her to do that with any beast (I could only wish). I think she'll have Stealth base now, and possibly Mirage as a spell.

It would be interesting if Kaya did go legendary and became a Cavalry caster... especially because she'd almost certainly be the fastest caster in the game if she got full wolf mount speed. Still though, I don't know what they'd give her... there's so much that would be awesome, but Circle 'is not allowed to have'. Who knows what her feat would do. I'd definitely like to see her keep her status as a living beast caster. Having her on a large base with either natural Prowl or outright Stealth would mitigate certain ranged matchups. Movement buff spell(s) to allow her warbeasts to keep up with her. Some form of her trademark Spirit Door/Spirit Shift... heck, have a spell where she swaps two warbeast models and they can still activate (or at least, still attack).

While I'd like to see LKrueger, I'd be very curious where they would go with a LKaya.

I'm going to go with lKrueger as well, it makes sense given all the fluff.

As for who goes epic, Mohsar ad Morvanna are generally said to be at the top of thier power already, Cassius and Wurmwood won't change until the tree needs a new intemediary, and Kromac is already huge.

I think they will epic Grayle.

Unit - I would love to see some Wolves of Orboros Heavy Cavalry, on wolves, with rules for them to back up Morraig.

I would like to see Morvhana go Epic more than anything. I just love her to death. However, with regards to our Level 3 Epic, I am pretty sure it is going to be Krueger for all the reasons discussed. The story around Krueger is such that it just begs to see him evolve again. In addition, I felt that insider write up that Seacat did was something of a foreshadowing moment of things to come...

I've always loved the idea of Kromac the warpwolf (he's what I was hoping for before the Woldbaldur some people predicted for Domination). However, Warpwolf lKaya would be very cool. More of a ghostly Pureblood-Warlock type rather than the balls-to-the-wall savagery WW Kromac would be.

If she doesn't get that though, +1 to votes for Cav Kaya. Riding an Argus, but with Laris leading a wolf pack as a character bodyguard unit. And warpwolf cav with a feral riding a satyr. No?

For our Legendary warlock I'm thinking it's going to be Krueger. He is just making to many moves that he has to undergo some type of change. I wouldn't mind Kaya going Legendary but hope it's not a mounted version. At first I thought it would be cool to see her mounted on Laris but when they announced Vlad, Kreoss, and Vyros getting mounts I feel it's getting to overdone in such a short span. As for another epic I would like to see Morvahna go. I'd like to see her as a warlock that helps troops stay alive and deliver more damage. Something like Fury and Iron Flesh. Remember that going epic is not a promotion but references a characters growth. Promotion of rank is just a commonly used reason so although Mohsar is the highest rank for a Druid that does not exclude him from going epic.

Kaya mounted on a Warbeast would be ridiculous. I see her more as going totally feral, or if she must ride something, just a common wolf like the Wolf Riders. Her riding Laris would be silly in the extremes, but could be just my taste.

And yes, epic Morvanha would be epic. Last Stand please.

I don't see Morvahna or anyone in our faction getting Iron Flesh, they're not going to give us a DEF 17 ARM 19 Ghetorix. Last Stand might be cool, but not sure I see that one at the moment. I'd love to see Ritual Sacrifice for her though, I could see that being thematically relevant for sure. Parasite or Crippling Grasp would be good for us to be able to potentially deal some damage with infantry running her.

I had been leaning pretty heavily towards Kaya3 happening based on how Domination went down, but now that I'm thinking about the Woldwrath coming out and seemingly a decent amount of suggestion that it'll have lightning attacks, its leading me to think that it'll more likely be Krueger too.

If I look out there it seems like every Warmachine faction has 4 epics right now (except of course Retribution and Mercs), so it would sort of be nice if we had our 4 epics before getting to the 3rd incarnations. Maybe they could give us like Mohsar2, Morvahna2 or Kromac2 and then Krueger3 in the same book. I'm doubtful, but it'd be cool.

For normal Epics PP has been going in the order of release. That would mean that either Morvana or Kromac is next. (I'm not sure which came first.)
