    Default Vyros- Perfect Execution

Exactly what are the limits on the allocation of Focus from Vyros' Feat?

    Is it-

    1) Can't have more than 3 focus on a Warjack as the result of his feat.

    2) Can't have more than 3 focus on a Warjack or allocate more than 3 focus from his feat.

    D) Can't have more than 3 focus on a Warjack or allocate more than 3 total focus between what was allocated during control phase and what was allocated from his feat.

The way p74 in Prime Mk2 is worded it almost seems like option D, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intent.

As long as you dont exceed three focus at any time, go for gold.

So the three focus allocation limit only applies during the Control Phase?
The rest of the time the restriction is purely that a warjack can't have more than 3 focus on them as a result of allocation?

The rule is that a warjack may never have more than 3 focus as a result of allocation. Other than that, focus can continue to be allocated through various effects.

In the case of Vyros's feat, he could activate the feat then activate a unit to kill five models, allocating 3 focus to a Phoenix and 2 to a manticore. Then the Phoenix activates, moves into another unit and hits and kills a model. The focus point can't go to the Phoenix because it has 3 focus, so it goes to the manticore. Then the phoenix buys an additional attack and kills another model. The focus point can be allocated to the Phoenix because it will not exceed the allocation limit.

Narn: I is in your base, killing all your doodz!

p74 under Allocating Focus Points- "A warjack can be allocated up to 3 focus points but can have no more than 3 focus points at any given time as a result of allocation."

So the underlined part of this sentence is not a limit; it's just describing what happens in the control phase?

Think of the underlined part more as "whenever you allocate focus to a warjack, you cannot allocate more than 3 focus points" (though special rules may alter this).

Perfect execution allows you to allocate focus after any attack that kills an enemy model.
Sometimes you have to make lemons out of lemonade.
