new league models in NQ41

They changed Corbeau and The Machine wraith. Less upset by Machine Wraith. Made it use fury and good against living models, but they made Corbeau a Jack Marshal bonus a bonus (gives marshalled jacks focus). No bueno! Now what is going to eat up those two points in my termy league lists?

Sanctjud - I forgot the helpful nature of this forum for a minute. I was mostly posing a rhetorical question with the "what am I going to replace Corbeau with ..." bit. I've got solo's galore. From Gorman (who is my most likely replacement for Corbeau) and Ragman to Rengrave and WWS.
But, since you asked, my typical Terminus list includes Corbeau, Darragh Wraith, Gerlak, Bane knights, WSC, 2 pistol wraiths with a leviathan for my Jack and a reaper as my reinforcement.

I agree the machine wraith does look cool, I am just not sure who I would use it with. Most games played around here are 35 points and I already have so much fighting to get into my lists.

Corbeau's new ability makes her awesome for Jack Marshalls, except I don't think we'd see much use for it considering our Marshall won't really see much use below 50 points and probably barely any use at 50 points if I am being honest. But then again, it is a model meant for the Mercs, so it might be of a bonus to them. Just a bummer that it ruins the model for me in any league games.

You can try Orin Midwinter for some magic hate.
But the Siren is a good addition, just a great all round support model, esp. with running the Levi or Reaper early on.

3 Point unit of 3 Bloodbane Wraiths will be a very cheap and efficient second wave.
They are living solo hunters, or operate as a more defensive Bile Thrall in terms of Blight Shroud (limited to 4" auto pow 8)...hello Kayazy! Sadly, the balance factor is that it's CMD 3, so it's not gonna gain to much Fury to get that 4" blight bomb going.

To extend the League brainstorming, the upgrades:
1. Defiler: pretty cool, makes sense with the high def of the arc node...but it's still a 5 points.
2. Corruptor, lol...just get a Levi still...
3. Harrower: OMG, Yes plz...360 Thresher!

Yeah I felt the same way when I read the Harrower's upgrade. I use Defilers often enough that the upgrade will be usefulfor me, and the third upgrade - as you pointed out - who cares. IIRC the corruptor minus 4 range puts it at charge range anyway so the extra ROF would only be useful to get out extra burster attacks and honestly who is going to leave that much infantry that closely grouped together?

I don't have the mag with me, but does the Bloodbane Wraith attack everyone or just enemy models, and the command 3 was the troubling factor for me as well. I run into a lot of magic weapons around here so I can't imagine it would be sticking around for too long.

So seeing the upgrades and the season model - I've got two questions for you:
1)What caster do you see yourself playing the most with this season based on the information we have so far? - I'm thinking one of the Dennys and pSkarre for dark guidance on the Harrower.
2)Any speculation on who our Ally is based on our season model? - I am kind of hoping for Skorne, but mostly so I can play team games with my girlfriend and earn league points.

You make a good point about the Siren, which makes me wish more games were at larger points (non-league) as the Siren would be useful in my normal lists.
Don't own Orin yet, and Corbeau is the only merc I play with any regularity. I just like our own 2 point solos so much. If it comes down to siren or Gorman, I usually end up going Siren.

Is it just the cards available in the issue? No word on new alliances yet? I'll have to see about getting the issue soon so I can read up on these models.

Yeah, it is just the league cards and upgrades. They hold off on the Alliance announcements until when they release the seasons rules.
