For Those Who Have Playtested Ghetorix....

Played a bit more and really got back into buff stacking and actually killing stuff with a beast even though it may be a trade. I haven't really used this playstyle since primal because of how other factions got so much better defences while our offence stagnated for so long.

I'm really loving how I send him in as a trade piece sometimes and he lives through the retaliation!

He's a boss. Last week he killed Mulg turn2 in 4 hits, weathered pGrissel's feat with only 2 dmg boxes blacked out through 9 attack attempts by Fen Blades, then killed Grissel in one hit next turn after taking free strikes from 2 Fen Blades to get into melee with her.

I really feel like he offers tactics to Circle that we haven't ever had before. He opens up a lot, in terms of list considerations.

Ran him today in a Steamroller event with eBaldur. People really have to throw everything at him to take him off the board. Ornery, while not great, I find much more use out of it with the pow 19 hit threat than in gators with the meager pow 15.

With the opness that is rock wall, eBaldur is a great fit with this guy more so if you don't have Kromac as one list. Also, Roots non placement effect is boss!

had my 2nd game with Gheto, and I'm liking him a bit more. But he isn't replacing anything in my collection, neither the Feral or Stalker. The Feral is too cheap and flexible to replace and I'm a fan of the Stalker's natural Pathfinder, animus and Warps.

im just really really happy to have a really good target for inviolable resolve for Kromac. him with that and a stalker with wild aggression is just damn sexy. oddly though, ive been running him with Krueger 2 lately. its not that Krueger 2 does anything specifically to buff Ghetorix, and Ghetorix's animus is completely irrelevant for Krueger. but damn, between TK and Gallows, Ghetorix almost always gets to engage on his terms and with Kruegers board control, you can often stack the odds that Ghetorix will suffer only retaliation he can live though. sometimes you can even rinse and repeat that. the two of them have been the cause of Ghetorix eating 3 skorne heavies over the course of 3 rounds before Ghetorix finally gave in to his wounds!

I'm in agreement. Don't have eKrueger yet, but Ghetorix and a Stalker with Kromac is GREAT. Throw in a Gorax at 35pts, and man, that is one excellent battlegroup.

I like to think that for 11 points, I can have a Feral that can warp for STR, +1.5 SPD (reach), and Armor all at the same time!!! Plus all of Gety's warps... and a (slightly) better animus. And I just got my Feral painted all nice
