    Default Metamorphosis & Evolution

    Forgive the newbie question, but...

Have the Metamorphosis & Evolution books been replaced under the Mk. II rules, or do they still contain usable game material? I'm guessing that they've been replaced by the Forces of Hordes books, but I want to be sure. Someone offered to sell them to me, and I don't want to buy them if they're not any good anymore.

Both are old, "Mk I" books. There's still some great fluff in them, but as for game stats and rules, they are not Mk II compliant.

(Also, moving this out of rules forum so people can discuss the merits of the fluff, etc. if they want to.)

It reads the rulebook or it gets the hose again.

Our local venue had these books on sale for $1 during their last National Comic Book Day. At that price they disappeared quickly.

They are still great for the stories and art work [or if you want to return to Mark I play?] I kept mine!

They do not have the correct info (point costs, stats, abilities) for the current, Mark II play.

Okay, that's what I was wondering. Everyone here is new enough at Warmachine/Hordes that we're all playing Mk II. So I'll pass on them for now.
