Is this a good Mangled Metal list for pMagnus at 25pts?

I haven't played much 25p MM games, but I usually prefer Nomad over Mangler in MM games. The few warjacks I ever have to worry about shield bonus from, are stuff like lancer, that I don't want to hit on in the first place. If you know you are going to play allot against WarMachine only (no Hordes) then the Talon can be nice, it goes a long way with a single focus, and Magnus can usually handle himself against most ranged threats with Blur. Though most are going to recommend the Vanguard, probably.

I really want to try Rover with Magnus1 myself, perfect target for Temper Metal. I might be tempted to try something like this, just because I like redundancy with merc warjacks:

Looks OK, you've got some beatsticks, the ranged threat and a trick/Speedbump to stall the main threats and allowing you the counterpunch.

Mangled Metal needs Talons. Its about the only time you'll use the little guys, but they're pretty good in this game type.

Thats what I generally do. Rover may work as well. Since you get free upkeeps, stick with the jacks that get the most out of each so you can cast and forget about it.
