UK Masters 26th to 27th May. Games Expo Birmingham

That time of year is nearly upon us. The UK Masters is a 7 round, 50 point Steamroller tournament that is spread over two days and held at UK Games Expo in Birmingham on the 26th and 27th of May 2012. Currently 120 tickets are going to be available. Extra 8 tickets are now available here: http://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/bookeve...p?category=min The following rules will be used: Steamroller 2012 (available on the Privateer Press web site) 50 points with 10 points reinforcements 3 Lists Require - Divide and Conquer (you must use each list at least twice during the event). Players cannot include the same version of a model or unit with FA:C in more than one list. Baseline Painting - Painted armies are not required 7 Round Event Baseline Timings - Basic round times are randomly decreased or increased by a variable (d3 × extension length) that is not revealed to players. During each game, one turn extension is allowed for each player. Dice down is called when round time is complete Scenarios will be announced after list submission Baseline Victories Large Event Scoring You can contact the events team at pp (dot) ukmasters at gmail (dot) com. Deadline for list submission will be 11:59 PM Friday 11th May. Lists to be submitted by email to pp (dot) ukmasters at gmail (dot) com. I am also proud to announce that the Masters will be a Golden Thrall event. The Golden Thrall is a painting competition and there will be a Gold, Silver and Bronze Thrall for the 3 best painted 50 point lists at the event. No it's £28. £14 for the two day expo ticket and £14 for the event ticket

I'm guessing here, but I'm thinking with it all being in the same building including accommodation, it'll be similiar to some of the cons they have in the States You'll be able to judge for sure come May next year since you've got experience of US events to compare to!

Selling 105 tickets out 120 in less than six hours is no joke. A 3 day hordes and warmachine con is quite possible. Lets see what happens .

Counting Minions and Merc's as full factions each, and average spread should of been 10-11 players for each faction. Cryx is really of base with that kind of showing.
