    Default Enter the Chamber!

    First thing: Lt. Caine.

Gaming aids by guest director John Woo!
It's perfect because classic sculpt Lt. Caine already looks like he is falling backwards through a stained-glass window pane. John Woo dove focus tokens for the two-gun warcaster! Perfect!

My buddy fatetwister64 dropped off these tiny plastic doves on my desk and pitched the idea to me. They are only 99 cents any any local supplier of wedding or quinceanera frippery.

So I got the tiny plastic birds, cleaned them up a little bit, mounted them on some old Agricola counters with some wire, based, painted, maybe an hour and change worth of labor and under two dollars worth of supplies. Why isn't everyone who ever plays Caine doing this right now?

I'm torn on the doves. A cool idea no doubt, but shouldn't there be more doves around when he's doing cool stuff? :P

If the doves are suppose to represent focus you should make a seventh one for when you take the squire and don't upkeep anything. Just in case.

That is incredible. It's both cool, and LOL worthy at the same time. Color me impressed.

Yeah, the problem is that the doves go away as he is doing cool stuff (spending focus).

The squire is cool, but as far as I'm concerned Sylys Wyshnalyrr is the attachment of choice for Caine1. Thunder Strike + Range Amplifier + Spiritual Conduit + Arcane Secrets = COMEDY GOLD! Your Warcaster just became the second-best artillery piece in the game!

As far as I'm concerned you've won the internet today.

Congratulations, your certificate is in the post.

    Default Karchev escape module

This is my crowning achievement in modelling dumbness to date: The Karchev Escape Module.

    UNEARTHLY RAGE

Seen from the side, you can view his construction: Karchev torso, Halfjack arms and legs, the boiler from a Rhulic light, and some tubing and odd and bobs I had lying around in my bits box.

Uncoupled as he now is from the main life support systems of his warjack body, Karchev is living on borrowed time. He must find a field hospital, a Greylord, a mechanik team, and at least six Winter Guardsmen with type A- blood, all within the next fifteen minutes, or he will die.

It began as a fairly benign conversation while my compatriot fatetwister64 was hard at work putting together his Karchev the Terrible. I had been fascinated by the Karchev head piece; I had always figured he was a mutilated basket case (fluff has since vindicated me) in an iron lung, and that iron lung was attached to a killer robot body. I held the head next to one of my Halfjacks, and noticed they were about the same size. I knew right then I had to do it.
We began to imagine that Karchev didn't live to be a hundred and fifty by not hedging his bets. The "Karchev Fishtail" gimmick will jam a Spirggan into the enemy deployment zone, but it also leaves your warcaster deep in enemy territory with his back arc exposed. If it works, you win, if it doesn't, you're hosed. So when it doesn't work, the plates on the front of his chassis open up, there is a blast of steam and the rapid hissing sound of pressure cables decoupling, and then he slides out of the front of the body and runs away as fast as his stubby legs will carry him.
I imagine that he makes "woopwoopwoopwoopwoopwoop" noises like Zoidberg as he does so.
Also maybe we could mount this on a Large base and try and con people into believing it's tournament legal. It clearly uses the original model as the base!

This is pretty close to the best thing I've ever seen - you need to make a Karchev body wreck marker for it to be sprinting away from

Also the potential for this thing and Terrified eStryker (I can't seem to find it right now, but there was a post where someone cut one of his hands away from the sword and it ended up looking as if he was running for his life) in some sort of Benny Hill chase scene is huge!

Hmm... Karchev and Loveless haven't ever been seen in the same place at the same time... nah, couldn't be.
So play like you've got a pair, or put down the metal and go find something made of plastic.

I would let you field that Karchev. Nothing anyone could say would make me say no to it.
Maybe a scenario where the rest of his body is in the middle of the table, or he has to wait for a jack to be destroyed before pulling himself together again?
