This is my first attempt at playing Magnus. I have howeverr always toyed with the idea of making a semi themed list and trying it out. This list brings alot of tough models and some pretty heavy hitters. Infantry shouldn't be a problem with two Obliterators and the firepower provided by Herne and Jonne. The two Manglers can easilly hold their own against any other heavies. Kell will do what he does best, kill stuff! The trolls are used as a tarpit unit and for advancing into the enemy. Orin seems out of place and I have no experience with him but he fit in the list theme wise and I love the model. Lemme know what you guys think and any suggestions you may have.

PS: I am playing this in a 4 way battle against an EKreoss Exemplar army, EStryker Stormblade army, and a Vladimir Beserker/Drago army.

Why not drop Herne and Jonne, play it as a most wanted list, which would cover tier 1, reducing renegades by 1 point.

This would leave you with 5 points top play with, meaning another jack (vanguard which would provide magnus some safety) or go with some troops in Boomhowler, and then adding Saxon for pathfinderon them.

Just a thought.

Otherwise it looks like a solid list and the two manglers will work well against all the troops you are facing.

Hell, just drop H&J, switch to Most Wanted, fill out Boomhowlers pals and grab Gorman. I would also swap Orin for Saxon.
