    @samhordes:

    You always can try to participate as mercenary in a team. There are always teams searching for one or two players. A Team from the USA and/or England would be great.

    Five Polish teams. Seriously guys ?

    Well there's bound to be at least 2 French teams, maybe more if the South rises. We're looking forward to meeting you all again with unmatched trepidation (especially the Finns , maybe we won't be so easily outgamed this year... then again, maybe we will ).

    I see from this year's rules draft that unlike the last two editions, proxies are prohibited. Is that final or is it possible to submit our proxies to the TO for validation?

    Thanks Ruad. There's no rush, and if there's a rationale behind the decision, so be it. But in that case we must be forwarned well in advance to be able to adapt our painting schedules !

    I have a few questions but couldn't register at the forum at taurusiuvavi.at with a @gmail.com address.

    I get:
    The e-mail address you entered is not allowed to be used.

    What's the deal with that?

    So, still no leeway as to proxying? I know it impacts some of us pretty badly - I for one would not want to paint the stock Gerlak, Madelyn or Satyxis Captain, and I'm not even speaking of Starpu with his half-proxied Merc army. Is there any way we could negociate the use of proxies on a one-on-one basis?

    There's a link to a rules flyer in the first post of this thread. There are basicly 20 places, but actually more if teams from new countries participate. It would be great to have also Danes there!

    @Zoro:

    We will do it as last year. Send us a picture of the proxied models and we decide if it fits.

    @ Pollo:

    Basically we have 20 teams maybe 22 if we have enough space. New countries have a bonus for a starting place :-)

    No Update yet!

    The Proxies will get thier Update as well the army lists. You have to play both lists in the tournament. How often you have to play the lists is discussed.

    New List!

    On Sunday we will release the updated version of the flyer. If it is possible we will raise the participants to 22 teams. We have to look for the space on the location.

    Only new nations can preregister!

    As I was telling Ruad off-forum, there probably won't be even one French team this year as enthusiasm has dwindled in the past months and there's not enough players to make a team, let alone absorb the costs of travel. Sad but we'll hopefully come stronger in 2013!

    Yeah, I know. And it would have been a pleasure to meet the fine Warcast crew. Awful lots of real life for most of us getting in the way of mobility...

    Oh crap, that's a shame... so you're telling us we need to go all the way to France to have a chance to beat you?
    I'm sure there are some mercenaries eager to join you even if you don't have a full team, I know there's a lot of interest in OETC among Polish players so maybe give it a try!

    Kurde, don't make me regret not coming this year more than I already do As I wrote earlier the cost of the travel is too heavy to bear for a group smaller than 5.

    And by the way yes - everyone should totally come play in France and enjoy our sweet sweet way of life !
