I would rather a book every year with 5 things than a book every 2 years with 10 things. More fluff, more art, etc.
warghbl no witch doctor yet. lol.... At least that means my wallet wont be hit as bad with all this crazy good stuff coming out.
No Avenger kit? If Khador and Cygnar go August and September in whatever order that'll put Wrath at almost two years to wrap its release. That's bonkers considering how small that book was.
I like this release schedule. It will make it easier for me to save up for the Kraken in August as June will be a nasty month for me what with the two Road Hogs, Finch & sidekick Nemo3, and Stormwall that I'll want to pick up...might be forgetting something there too...
Destroyers were my first love, but I dabble in everything.
Time spent whining over which faction is overpowered could be better spent playing and bettering one's game. Read page 5 and play.
Farrow, Cryx, Gators, Mercs, Circle, Retribution and Cygnar. Variety is the spice of life.
Bleh...at this rate I might as well just buy a metal Spriggan. :/

Don't do it! Just look, IFP repackage! There's still hope!
"No mercy."
Actually - the metal Spriggan is a really solid model. It was difficult to get the legs to line up - but man does it look good (somehow I managed to do this perfectly - on the second attempt, after I grabbed a new base, which is why I keep extra bases).
Yay Tibbers! *squee*
Currently painting: Fire of Salvation, Vessel of Judgement, Exemplar Errants + UA
My mod voice is fiery orange.
I'm not fond of its legs, personally. Same with the Devastator. After seeing what PP did with the Reckoner, I won't dare pick up a metal until I've seen what the plastic has to offer.

Well if you want to get pedantic about it, the first Wrath releases came out Gen Con weekened in 2010, which is what I think he was trying to get at.
That was the regular MO. Superiority stuff was first release in NQ 1...and that was before we even had Apotheosis in our hands (and just found out about epic casters).
I keep saying this new schedule is boring. The book is out in 3 months and the only thing out is Alexia? A book that loooks will be very low on models.
Say what you want but once you read he book new releases is what keep interstate up. I wonder how they plan to keep interest on WARMACHINE once the minuscle release is done.
WARMACHINE/Hordes no more.
This is why I am glad I am a one-faction man. Yes, I'll take the Menoth plastic kit, that is all![]()
"Oh, you think continuous Fire is your ally. You merely adopted the POW 12. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see a d6 result of 1 or 2 until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but Focus for EFEORA!"

Unless you're really set on Devastator + Demolisher, you'll probably want a Spriggan + a Demolisher/Devastator at some point, so getting a Spriggan isn't a bad choice. I got one months ago when it looked like the plastic kits weren't gonna be out for ages. You're still probably looking at 4-5 months before we get the lot. We know nothing about what's in this speculative plastic kit. It may not even include a Spriggan. It may just be a metal Demolisher. Who knows!? PP won't say anything about it (honestly that's the part that's most frustrating to me). Odds are good it's the three of them, but we can't really say.
I don't understand people reacting to good news (here's the new stuff for a given month!) as if it were bad news. Yes, some things are taking a while to come out. We have seen from previous releases that this is a thing that occasionally happens. Would you guys prefer if PP didn't release ANYTHING new until all the old stuff is out? Keep in mind that the release of, say, the Stormwall has ZERO impact on the release of the Avenger kit. None. The only reason new releases would be held back is to soothe the hurt feelings of people who are still having to wait for some older things. Is it good business to just sit on new releases because unrelated production delays have hurt some people's feelings?
"Shhh. Before you talk with the Chief, you must party with the Chief."
Some people just don't want Bombardiers version 2.
"No mercy."
I get that. Nobody wants a repeat of the Dawnguard Destor Delay Debacle. What I don't get is what that has to do with things that ARE released. Not releasing Thing B will in no way expedite the release of Thing A. It stands to reason, then, that PP would go ahead and release the things that are ready regardless of the things that aren't.

In my case the annoyance is due to having made a list for the ETC in July with an Avenger in it, as it seemed a reasonable assumption that the model would have been released within 15 months (March 2011 - June 2012) of the book coming out.
That reminds me - must come up with a couple of alternative lists and post them for feedback.
Painted: Mercs: 194pts, 5 casters | Cygnar: 102pts, 5 casters | Minions: 52pts, 2 casters | Trolls: 25pts, 1 caster | Circle: 30pts, 1 caster - Latest: Sentry Stone, 6 Stormguard

Is in the company best interest to put the stuff that is ready on the street and sell it instead of save them on a warehouse.
Also keep in mind that, PP have better control on their metal products since they are done in-house (and that does not mean that is a procedure problem free). The plastics are done overseas. This add a lot of elements that make delays more common.
WARMACHINE/Hordes no more.
Most of the delays seem to be on the plastic models, which are produced in China I believe. Not really in PP's control if their subcontractor takes a long time.
I've been thinking this most of the day and haven't had a chance to post it, too. Especially since they seem to be sculpting some models digitally (BE's and Colossals come to mind) it's easier for them to get a rapid prototype printed to paint for the studio than to get molds made and take one of the first production run for the studio. It also lets them get the studio models painted in order to preview ahead of the actual release date without diverting production resources towards a limited run before they're ready to start full scale production of a given model.

Darn, I had hoped that not only the Colossals book but also all of the new warcasters at least would be available at Lock and Load but this July release list makes the prospects of that look increasingly unlikely.
