I'm working on Thorn at the moment, going with something similar to the studio theme.
I used Morrow White on the shoulders and it is very, very white. Is there any way to wash it so that it tones down some of the brightness and shades it a little?

I think this is what you're looking for

... maybe try Vallejo Wash 73202 Pale Grey, it's a white/grey wash, that will eat your brightness for sure.
I love washing/glazing over white! Depending on what tone you're going for you'll be able to make up the appropriate mix to tint it, but keep in mind it's easy to over-darken. Start with very thin layers of wash, controlling where it goes (i even tend to 'pick up' a lot of glaze on raised areas as I go), and do another thin layer if need be once it's dried.
Particularly over white I enjoy using Greytone Sepia, Yellow, Blue, and Chestnut Inks, Smoke Glaze, tons of browns and skin tones (mixed with glaze medium, mixing medium, flow improver, or some combination thereof). All of these behave differently and require some familiarity to make them apply smoothly on a per-type basis.
Handcannon Online does have great guides not only for painting white but also doing glazing/washes. Experiment and find what works for what you are trying to achieve.
