Green Stuff Question

I'm getting prepared to do my Menoth heavy jack kit with the magnets. On the tutorial on the forums it talks about using green stuff. My question is I don't have green stuff but I have the P3 modeling putty. Are they pretty much the same thing? Do I have to mix the grey and black together for it, or will it work with just one of them?

They should be pretty much the same thing. You do indeed mix the two parts together. Once mixed, it starts hardening.
