35 pt Kromac Steamroller

Ghetorix 11
Warpwolf Stalker 10

I've got 9 points left.

Here are my options.

Celestial Fulcrum 9 (Good at killing infantry, triggering Warpath, generates a free Fury in a list short in beasts, blocks LOS to Kromac until it dies.)

Woldstalkers 5 and Lord of the Feast 4 (Again, for killing infantry and trigger Warpath. Not as big a target as the CF, but also not as hardy. Can flank more easily, and has more range. Doesn't block LOS. Doesn't give me Fury.)

Woldstalkers 5 and Argus 4 (The Argus is a utility piece for lowering DEF, giving Ghetorix Pathfinder, and generally being a Fury generator/nuisance/possible damage transfer target. Woldstalkers are still in for killing infantry and flanking.)

Woldguardian 9 (Gives Kromac a great animus that protects him from ranged assassination, and can do some pretty solid damage on its own. He has more mobility in this list due to Warpath. Makes me feel better about my total potential Fury per turn.)

So, which of these options seems best to you?

If I had to choose from your options I would go with the woldstalkers and Lord of the Feast, unless you want the LOTF in another list more he will do well against living infantry and the stalkers I feel are good all around. Even with Ghetorix I would still like to see a Gorax in the list myself and I don't know if Kromac needs two gallows groves, but I haven't used the two much to comment on them. Myself I would try to get in a Gnarlhorn is you have access to the model I love the speed boost you can get.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm only running the one list as I just started my Circle army a month ago and have limited models to choose from at the moment, so I'm trying to make the best all comers list that I can.

I really like the Wolds + LotF for the amount of utility and distraction that they bring, and LotF can just decimate infantry. Wolds can do either infantry or beasts/jacks.

My experience with Ghetorix so far has been that with Wild Aggression and warping for STR, Primal is overkill, and I lose more damage potential the next turn when he auto-frenzies. The MAT doesn't matter since I have WA, and lets say I get a total of +12 STR from Primal due to 2 IMAs and 4 purchased attacks. The next turn I'll probably lose more than 12 damage due to losing 1 IMA and 4 potential purchased attacked, and at 19 P+S, Ghetorix is usually rolling at plus dice, or minus 1-2 at the most.

A Gnarlhorn I'd like to try out, but I don't have access to the model in time for the tourney. Maybe at the next one!

Have you thought about gorax and woldstalkers for that 9 points?

I would be looking at Gorax, LotF and Swamp Gobbers.

Gorax for the MAT or STR Boost for high DEF/ARM when needed
LoTF cause if you bunch infantry after the feat he can go to town
Swap Gobbers to give you some extra cover.

But then i would be tempted to then drop Gheto for a Pureblood for the Spray, Wraithbane and Ghostly
