Hullo all! Let me start by apologizing: if this is in the wrong forum, that's on me. Anyway! On to my question:

I've been collecting a force of Trollbloods to use with Gunny, and so far I have...

Captain Gunnbjorn (derp)
Impaler
Axer
Min Scattergunners
Sluggers
Whelps (Mostly because they're my favorite unit. Like. Ever. Well...solos, really. But I digress.)

I plan to get a heavy in the very near future, as I feel I'm certainly not complete without it. My question, then, is twofold:

1. Which heavy would be best? I realize that most people like Bombers with him, but I can't shake the feeling that it might be good to have a Mauler in there for melee goodness. Thoughts?

2. What sort of melee units should I be looking to add? Gunnbjorn is mostly (read: completely) a ranged support caster, so I suppose I'd need something that's mostly self-sufficient, but...what?

1. Two heavy warbeast kits, one rok upgrade kit and magnetize away. With that you can run some awesome combos and it gives you what gunny wants.

I do like an earthborn with gunny but that's mainly because I like feating with a rock wall and the earthborn animus.

2. Grab fennblades with UA and a fell caller for a good start. I like fennblades with UA because they do ok with just a fell caller and gunny's feat is situationally useful with them.
