pVlad period =)
I am jelly of that username.
PP should give us a double handcannon toting gunmage solo.

It's already IN her theme force, bro. Possibly both, but if you play the book one instead of the magazine one, you are failing the motherland. This is 50:
Zerkova
-Conquest
Gorman di Wulfe
KEx3
KA(max)+UAx2
CHOOSE ONE: Greylord Ternion (will add 2" to deployment and give you a 3" cloud for LOS blocking turn 1) or Widowmakers
CHOOSE ONE: Koldun Lord (if you picked the Ternion) or Widowmaker Marksman (if you picked the Widowmakers)
QuinDraco Industries is not responsible for your opponent being humiliated at your complete and utter victory with Zerkova but without Silas.
Could someone please tell me where I'll find the information about that Colossals are considered war jacks when you buy it in theme forces? I know it is a warjack, that does not mean there will not be some kind of rule that says it can only be included in theme forces that specifically says that you can include colossals.
This won't be verified until someone sees the actual book. They are considered Warjacks, per the various videos released on them, but until we see a rule in the book that says they can be considered for a theme list it is anyone's guess. I am thinking more to no unless specifically stated that a theme can take them.
Don't forget that Conquest won't be able to take advantage of Watcher, unless it is already in melee with the target when it would activate Watcher. Not sure here. I know you wouldn't be able to move, but I am guessing that you could still make the attack if you could reach him. Guess work though, and can't be confirmed until the model is out.
I wish we knew if they can be taken in theme forces and if mechaniks can repair them.

We know for 100% certainty that both of these are true barring a special rule that explicitly bans either, as they are warjacks. I never cease to be amazed how often PP has to repeat this and people just seem to keep on asking questions with the same answer, which is that YES, they are WARJACKS, with everything that implies.
I'm surprised at the assessment on eVlad with the conquest so far - for me, he's actually my first choice with it.
The reason is that with hand of fate upkept on the conquest he's giving that buff to such a large chunk of the army, and only needs to spend a focus a turn to upkeep. That means that the rest of the army can benefit from the abilities and feat that eVlad offers. I'm thinking his infantry will really help to protect the conquest against enemy charges and threats in this case.
pVlad will obviously do the same thing but it's a 4 focus spend each turn - obviously great if you're just playing a gunline but I don't feel like that's a good way to win scenarios in steamroller at the higher levels of play. I'm not saying it won't be good with pVlad lists, it'll be great, but for me personally eVlad represents an opportunity to really get aggressive with my overall conquest featured list and jump on opportunites that the field presents rather than leave the initiative to my opponent.
There's a tournament coming up after the conquest is out, where I might even play eVlad/pVlad as my two casters, but eVlad will be the main list because I want to be able to out-threat things that might threaten my conquest by feating and sending in the doom reavers/drakhun etc. Hand of fate is a great way to keep the conquest performing very well while still having plenty of focus focus for transference and the other upkeeps, or even just so I can load the conquest up with 3 focus on one turn and still upkeep everything else. pVlad can S&P and still give it 3 but he's got little else for charges and run/engage moves with his army (compared to the eVlad feat, transference, etc).
The secondary pVlad list will be more like some of the ones featured in this thread - great against armies that are weak against shooting, but as more of a fallback for my own playstyle.
I'm not asking if they are warjacks or not. I want to know if there is something stopping these two things from happening. If there is some secret PP thread where they have explained that then please point us to it, if not, calm down.
I fully expect "colossal" will be it's own category with its own set of rules. I expect it will be very similar to warjacks but with some differences. I would love to see what those are.
The short version is that colossals will be warjacks with additional rules, in terms of those differences you mention - for example, a colossal cannot be stealthed. So it's entirely *possible* that we'll also see "colossals may not be in tier lists" and/or "colossals cannot be repaired", but those would have to be in the added rule set.
I would bet all of my dollars that they can be repaired, since even Battle Engines can be - it would be totally inconsistent with the known ruleset for them to be unrepairable. Tier lists are admittedly not as guaranteed, since tier lists never worry about consistency with anything else.

After seeing some spoilers, I'm still sold on old witch. Nice big murder of crows on part of conquest plus the 4 templates he lays out sounds like a pretty good screen.
Rag Man and pVlad. If you don't kill me I will hit you back at probably mat 6 + S&P for mat ~8, and pow 22 + dark shroud + S&P for ~ pow 26. Then I'll shoot all your dudes, and unlike the behemoth, I don't suffer the in melee combat penalty for my guns at all. Oh and if you ever leave you caster within 20 inches of me I will feat walk forward and shoot you dead!
