why doesnt Jarl have scouts in his Tier?

Seriously. I don't mean in terms of effectiveness - I understand Tiers are supposed to be flavourful. But in terms of flavour, who better matches the rag tag group of desperate survivors under his command than the scout models? I'm more than half considering getting some Scout models, putting shields on their arms so I can use them as Kriels in his Tier.

Scouts are forest dwelling, guerilla fighters that hit and run and help maintain food stores. Jarl needs all of those, and I can think of nothing better in the trollblood faction that would describe a group of guerilla raiders that strikes from the forests, grabs a bunch of food and then sneaks back away through the forest.

Was that a serious question, or are you just fishing for explanations theummhmmguy?

This seems like the most likely explanation. It's a shame though, because fluffwise I think you'd expect to see Scouts running with the likes of Jarl and Grim Angus more than anyone.

Only thing I can think of is Scouts are supposed to be from Kriels on the fringes of Troll society. As Jarl Skuld is hanging on in the Thornwood they wouldn't be in geographically similar places. Other tiers have access as they represent the ousted Trolls of the United Kriels and would come across their "backward kin" during their exodus. That said, Jarl still manages to get access to Skinners somehow...

It's a long shot theory that is probably riddled with all sorts of lore problems but it's all I can think of as to why they're not in the tier. Personally I'd love them to be in there.
