35pt MM/TC this Friday

Doing a 35pt MM/TC on friday and have been leaning towards playing eVayl. In the past I've played Absylonia a lot for some of these tourneys (tier list, etc) so was looking to change it up a bit. Possibly thought of pVayl as well but looking for some suggestions, I have everything in the faction available and at least 2 of most heavies as well. Here is the list I have been thinking about.

eVayl +6

Shredder 2
Harrier/Stinger 2
Angelius 9
Angelius 9
Scythean 9
Ravagore 10

Thought about dropping the Ravagore for another Scythean but I like the idea of getting a few long range shots off early plus Dragon's fire animus for the Angelius's if need be or chance at setting opposing casters on fire. Occultation, Refuge and Admonition cycling just seem really good for this type of setup. Was thinking the harrier for a mobile arc node late game over the stinger since it's only 4d6 on the charge against hordes/casters.

Sorry no list advice but 35 points for MM/TC? That seems a lot for that style. No fury management for hordes and so many jacks with so little focus for warmachine seems like it could cause problems... People are going to have to exploit the fury/focus efficient beasts/jacks and casters/locks. I would expect to see a lot of lists with high priced character beasts/jacks to keep the model count down. Legion is known for running beast heavy but without any fury management it's gonna be tricky IMO.

I agree, it's going to be interesting. Large part of why I was looking at a high fury lock like Vayl.

how about pvayl scythean scythean carnivean ravagore shredder, if im calculating properly, that comes to 35 and should hit like a ton of bricks. run the scytheans as a first wave, with the ravagore and carnivean behind as a second strike/guard vayl, you can run the scytheans super hot and if it comes to it its not too bad if they frenzy just turn them so they cant see each other after you charge if it comes to it lol

I recently took this hilarious list to a MM event, it was as follows:

Kallus
4x Harrier
8x Shredder
2x Stinger
Typhon


Oh, and it came in first out of 16, so legion can definitely pull it off. The main benefit to it is that with dark guidance you can get that extra umph without racking up all the fury. That and people just didn't really know how to deal with it.

That looks like a worse eThagrosh lesser spam list. It seems like the feat + MD + higher fury would make eThag with that list strictly superior.

Just wanted to let people know that I took 3rd with the list I posted above. Losing my only game to the Circle player that ended up winning, he played an eKaya list that qualified as Tier 1. I had Kaya down to 1 life but couldn't finish her off and he killed my last beast with his last beast, an almost dead Feral Warpwolf. A few notes. eVayl can handle the fury this list can pump out on most turns pretty easily, double Angels with refuge/admonition bouncing around is just sick.
