My Competative Ashlynn List, 50 points

IMO i not only think mercs can win a major tournament but deserve to win.
With that being said i want to post all my tournament lists on the forums so that other mercs can point out weaknesses i missed and so i could share my lists. If anyone trys

Hi,

I play Ashlynn a lot and you have a solid list there, I'll give you my humble opinion anyway.
I am a bit skeptical about the nyss, just because in melee they have POW 9, and even with weapon master they struggle against high armour, which is one of the main problems of mercs.
I normally use those 10 points for thor marshalling the rockram for some amazing crits in the feat turn (also, the rockram with pronto and assault and quicken can send his projectile some 23 inches away, pretty good).
as much as I like rocinante, I do not think ashlynn should spend 9 points on a jack and I normally go for a nomad or a freebooter (less damage, but a situational immunity to KD and two open fists, never to underestimate for tactical purposes).
you are probably better off with gorman instead of harlan, he is much more versatile and can help the whole army hit better or more effectively, not just himself.
also if you really plan to rely sooo much on ranged attacks, you MUST have the master gunner, the mule with 16 inches threat and 9 RAT and possibility to reroll dist/dir for AoE is just sweet, plus your +2 on RNG once per match is incredibly useful early game, the mages with quicken and the minifeat can shoot something away from 24 inches ignoring anything except LOS, and the nyss are also great with that. if you go for a more jack heavy list, consider Lanyssa as she can help a lot with focus management.
My only concern is your relatively lack of defense against magic (I just opened a thread to get some input) and perhaps precursor instead of Nyss could be a good choice... you would sacrifice some firepower in exchange for a solid, spell immune first line

Only change I might personally make, would be to swap out Taryn and Reinholdt for either Eiryss.

So i really appreciate the help, ive changed out Harlan for the master gunner, but im hard pressed to remove the versatility of Rocinante or the Nyss Hunters.
I want to try swapping taryn and reinhildt for eiyrss but im not sure it will fit my play style with this list. I tried to make it able to handle any threat, jack heavy lists give me some problems but taryns shadowfire and the mule and gun mages moving stuff around mitigate their threat.

I do have some issue dealing with very tough infantry that dont rely on sheild wall.
