HOMEBREW: Ra (Retribution Character Myrmidon)

With his impending epicness, Vyros needs a character jack and this is my submission.

- Flight of the Phoenix: At the end of this models activation you may place it completly within 3" of its current position. During your opponents turn if an enemy model ends with movement within 6" of this model it may spend a focus, if so then you may place it completly within 3" of its current position. Flight of the Phoenix may only be used once per turn.
- Field Dependant - while its field generator system is crippled, this model loses the Phoenix Field ability and cannot attack with the Halo Cannon.
- Phoenix Field: Remove d6 damage points from this model's fore field after resolving continous effects during your maintenance phase.
- Affinity (Vyros): While within Vyros battlegroup and control area this model gains overtake.

(Myrmidon starts with a house Shyeel chassis. The head is based on the phoenix but has a curved crest coming out above its visor. The Arms are Shyeel standard with large swords styled after dawnguard sentinel blades. The rear attachments are similar to Phoenix standard but no arc nodes, are spread out to sides like partially spread wings and the central sections attached on the back end in exhaust ports at the bottoms.)

Vyros is a warrior who leads from the front and his personal Myrmidon is no different, its decades of service to the Dawnlord imprinting upon it a thirst for glory. Originally constructed as a Phoenix, Ra replaces its Arc Node technology with short burst jets that fire small blasts of arcane energy to give the Myrmidon the ability to make small leaps into the air in and out of danger. Its Thermal blade is likewise gone, changed out for a pair of heavy Dawnblades styled after the Dawnlords own Justicar. While the Myrmidon shows an unusual zest for combat and brutality in dealing with its foes it becomes more powerful when sent forth by its true commander; the artificial mind gaining greater control of its Phoenix Jets as it moves across the battlefield striking down all who oppose the salvation of Ios.
