So, what do we want out of Mammoth?

Oh well, I'll spam it again then :-) I want a gargantuan Ancestral Guardian. It would:

- look immensely cool, imagine a colossal statue crunching soldiers underfoot
- fill actually a gap in our arsenal if it provided some aura buffs for Immortals, maybe even other AG's
- be able to distinguish itself from our usual beatsticks by having some magical soul-powered spells/attacks, thus having a ranged game while still not making cannoneers obsolete and not needing to pay the Raider tax

I DON'T want another random dinodon, especially since the animantarax was such a disappointment, rules and model wise

What received:
Khador: a big jack full of guns, heavy armor and big fists.
Cygnar: a big jack full of guns, eletricity and open fists.
Menoth: a big jack with rockets and flamethrowers.
Cryx: a big jack with short range guns that gets benenfits for destroyed enemy models.
Trolls: a big troll with stompy fists and whelps.
Circle: a big construct, casting elemental attacks.

Do you see a pattern here?

I'm not advocating for a big titan. I really want a Construct type but my instincts tell me it would be a big stompy titan.

I am really, really heartbroken that it's not the Mammoth from the WFT. Six cannon mounted all around, plus stomp/trampling. Just walk it through the enemy army dropping templates left and right. Calling back to the source is always a good idea. (BTW: Where the heck are my Skorne hounds??)

I just want a set of rules on a model that size and price cost that don't suck ***. Damn thing could shoot silly string for all I care, as long as it RNG 16 ROF 2 POW 14 AoE 4... im good.

Really wont buy the the battle engine because of the looks, mechanics seems rather good otherwise.

Hope they dont make the same misstake with the gargatulan..Looks are verry important when selling figures, hope they notice.

I was at my LGS on Friday and they seemed really surprised that I didn't like the rules for the SA. I've been trying to see what they see for the last couple of months, care to explain why you think it's rather good?
