Hello ive got a question how critical pitch should work.
Its says that if you crit you can throw the model an pass al checks. My question is the throw attack it self a auto hit or do i need still need to hit the target model. So to put in perspective My archidon crits and wants to throw model a to model B do i roll to hit against model B as a normal throw?. My reason for asking is archidon has rat of 1.
1. Pitch gives a throw, not a two-handed throw. That means you aren't able to "aim" the attack at a model.
2. It doesn't say you pass all checks, it says you pass the strength check.
3. You use your MAT on a two-handed throw
If remember correctly, then you count as making a 'Throw Attack', not a 'Double Handed Throw Attack' - the distinction being that you cannot chose to throw model A at model B directly (please note that even if you were then you would be making a Melee Attack Roll, not usign your RAT).
And if you're asking if you need to make a separate attack roll for throw against Model A, no you don't. When it says you can throw the model on a crit, it means that you are actively turning *that* attack into a throw instead of a regular hit.
