Deciding on which 'lock to acquire next, thoughts please?

So I'm looking to finish the rest of Circle before we start getting the new light beasts, and I'm having trouble deciding between Kromac or eBaldur for the next warlock I pick up. If the folks checking this thread out wouldn't mind casting some light on the finer points of these two models I'd appreciate it!

eBaldur grinds his way to victory. He doesn't seem to beat people as much as he seems to outlast them. Kromac is just good overall. A great spell list, strong anti-magic, supports beasts very well. IMO Kromac is the better of the two but eBaldur brings a playstyle we didn't have before.

Unless you specifically dislike Kromac for some reason, you should definitely have him in your arsenal. He's one of the best warlocks Circle has.

eBaldur isn't bad by any means but Kromac is a boss.

That said, you would get better advice on this if you stated what warlocks you use now and what matchups you struggle with.

A large part of your choice depends on what beasts you have now. If you're using fuzzies, you're better off getting Kromac because then you don't need to immediately look to buy new beasts. If you decide to go with Baldur, you'll want some Constructs to go with him

seriously though. Kromac or eBaldur.

Right now eBaldur is my favorite warlock but he doesn't play like circle. If you have to choose, Kromac is easily the way to go. His army build is more flexible as is his play style. He is a lot of fun and hard to predict. he exemplifies everything circle.

eBaldur is a tank. He makes his army tanks. He's easy to predict, hard to deal with. he requires a crutch(Megalith), and it's extremely easy to mess up on activation order and cost yourself key models or positioning. He is really good once you learn to play him right. RoE on the threatened Heavies, Wall for charge denial/cover/extra melee DEF. He goes last whenever possible. I like to field Ghetorix with him.(ARM20/22 DEF18 vs shooting/16 vs melee, no knock down, move, place,(wall and RoE) is just brutal hard to kill.(he also brings a much needed high P+S)

Kromac is a force of nature and is worth a pickup without a doubt. Ebaldur is a bit off an odd warlock for the faction. Quite fun but i personally wouldn't take him to a tourney. To each their own however as this is strictly an opinion.
