    Default Still New to game- Evayl 25 pt to 35 pt

    I've started Legion because of my love of the Throne of Everblight and Proteus, So I decided to go with Evayl to start with. I'm starting off with just 25 points because my wife and I play small games and I play small games at the shop so far.

    Vayl, Consul of Everblight
    * Harrier
    * Harrier
    * Proteus
    Throne of Everblight
    Blighted Nyss Legionnaires (Leader and 5 Grunts)
    Spawning Vessel (Leader and 3 Grunts)

    I want to keep it with items from her tier list so i can do tier at 50, but fro now and at 35 I'm not so much worried about it. I would like to know what seems to work better for people who've used her, the Angelius or the Seraph. It'd be nice to have feed back on both of them before I buy either.

    You will never kill a heavy in any reasonable speed without at least a Scythean or Ravagore or Carni or Typhon or an Angel. I don't think Proteus can be in a list under 50 points.

    I don't get why everyone is so negative about proteus. carnivean has a bite 18 + the same fists, ravagor has a 15 blast + the same fists and scytheans fists are +1ps. Proteus has the same from and at least the same number of base attacks as all the other beasts but a higher rat to make sure his tentacles hit. He just seems to me to have way more options then any of the others and at least as high of a damage output possibility.

    Because one of his attacks can't hurt a heavy, can't contribute to the fight by range the entire time like a ravagore can, will generally need to waste his charge attack on a POW 14, and drag is unreliable needing a hit and damage. The Carni and Scythean will hit harder per attack, and the carni offers better durability, while the ravagore offers board control via the best gun in hordes.

    In that case what about this as the starting 25 points

    Vayl, Consul of Everblight
    * Angelius
    * Proteus
    Spawning Vessel (Leader and 3 Grunts)
    Throne of Everblight

    And moving to this at 35 pts?

    Vayl, Consul of Everblight
    * Harrier
    * Harrier
    * Angelius
    * Proteus
    * Seraph
    Spawning Vessel (Leader and 5 Grunts)
    Throne of Everblight

    I don't have the angilus but im planning on it very soon.

    In my opinion, eVayl is not a good starting point for Legion, and especially not Hordes in general. She typically requires a healthy amount of finesse to be effective.

    If you really want to do a tier list, then do Abby's tier. Its a straightforward army and it can work as low as 25 points. Definitely get an Angelius and the battle box if you don't have it. Battle box + Angelius + 2x Forsaken + Abby = a good cheap 25 point tier army

    2x Angels
    Seraph
    Scythean

    Max legos
    Spawning Vessel
    Shepherd

    I believe that is 35 pts tier 4 (don't have easy access to my lists atm). You have 2 very fast ap long range attacks with the Angels. Scythean is your accurate beat stick once you icy grip something. Seraph give you more mvmnt shenanigans and has a d3 shot gun. Legos screen and feed the pot. Pot spawns you arc nodes at random weird Angles or is just an awesome toolbox. This list can attrit or assassinate very easily.
