    Default Mule and missing parts.

I just started to assemble a Mule from the Mule/Rover/Nomad box. But (of course) it was missing the hip part, I assume it's one part that connects the legs to the torso.
I already reported it to Missing Parts but it'll take at least a month before I receive the replacement.
So I started looking at the barrels. Obviously the barrels belong somewhere in the back but I actually thought about using the barrel as its hips. Tilted horizontally I could attach the legs to the barrel ends and use a short piece of plastic tube to make a joint between the torso and the barrel.

Do you guys think it would work or should I wait for a month for the replacement?

Wait for the parts... I am picturing it in my head, and it looks rather silly to me.

On the upside, the plastics will stay up better than the metal would with only one leg, if glued to the base.

If you sent to EU missing parts you wont have to wait that long. It took them about a week so send me a replacement rifle for one of my steelhead riflemen.

Well I happen to have two of those kits infront of me now, and if you used the barrel in an upright poise with the legs coming out of the sides it might work its the right size and maybe a little plasticard or something else to give it a more armoured feel and it might work, after all mercs make do with what they can find, as the mules Quote says "Get me a dozen shoeing nails, a pair of rivets, and a quart of pitch tar. The mules down, and we'll prolly be needin' her t'morrow." so why not live up to that and give it a shot

but to be fair pp has been pretty good at getting replacment parts to people aswell if you want to wait

On one hand barrel crotch would look daft.

On the other hand it's still a damn jack loaded with barrels and planks of wood.

So there are arguments both for and against that

I have had nothing but good luck with replacements, even the miscast plastics got to me within a week, Finland shouldn't take too much longer than that.
