First List Ever 35pts Magnus "Hole in the wall Gang"
Howdy, i just recently got into warmachine-hordes and after much research and reading, simply fell in love with Magnus and Lord Carver. I am still in the process of learning all the rules, dynamics, and synergies so would appreciate any criticism, advice, ridicule, or what have youl
The strategy i envision is a mass execution, knock stuff down from afar, kill enough stuff to make a lane, move in an take out the rest. This list is built around Magnus the Traitor or pMagnus if i have the lingo right. So here it is.
"The Hole in the Wall Gang" 35pts (Most Wanted Teir 4)
Warcaster and Battle Group:
Magnus the Traitor
Mangler
2x Renegade
Vanguard
Solos:
Gorman Di Wolfe, Rouge Alchemist
Kell Bailoch
Units:
6 Long Gunners (no attachments, but am wondering if i should drop a solo?)
6 Steelhead Halberdiers
6 Steelhead Halberdiers
I envision the renegades forming a lane of knocked down models, kell and long gunners clearing a lane, steel heads forming a path, mangler and Magnus (saftley tucked behind the Vanguard) coming in to do the mop up.
I wonder if the above strategy is sound (do i send the battle group in second or third) or even feasible?
THis second list is based of Magnus the Warlord (eMagnus?) on his Bad Seeds Theme. It will follow much of the same strategy as above, but i figure instead of stretching the enemy out and opening up a whole, this list is more about pinning them down and wiping them out.
"The Sons of Liberty" 35pts (Bad Seeds Tier 4)
Warcaster and Battle Group:
Magnus the Warlord
2 x Renegade
Mangler
Solos:
Kell Bailoch
Saxon Orrik
Orin Midwinter, Rouge Inquisitor
Units:
6 Rangers
6 Sword Knights (I am not quite sure what Ambush entails but it sounds like it can be tactical)
6 Trencher Commandos w/2 Scatter Gunners
Anything will help and thanks in advance.
