There are four units with 10+ people in them, and one of those units can grow. Kayazy, Boomhowler, and the Halberds are quite capable of killing things without much support. Kayazy and Boomhowler's are excellent tarpits (DEF 16 in melee, 4+ tough respectively). The two Nomads are cheap beat sticks. The Risen can get up to a massive 21 models (including Alexia); that many models with tough (from Rhupert) can absolutely jam an enemy army to a standstill. Aiyana has a nice damage buff, and Holt is a pair of accurate hand cannons. The solos fill their typical support rolls: Rhupert buffs up units, Madelyn moves people when necessary, Eiryss2 strips upkeeps, and Gorman can rust jacks or toss acid bombs into units or blind casters.
The army can grind out with an attrition fight until the shot at the assassination appears. Death March from Damiano buffs accuracy with +2 Mat, making even the cheap Steelheads Mat 7 with Mat 9 on the charge. Damiano's feat bumps up the army's STR for better hitting power: Boomhowler and Kayazy threaten with P+S 15's, Steelheads show P+S 14 before CMAs, and the Nomads are up to P+S 20. The feat even gives the additional bonus of bonus armor to make the army stay standing for a while longer. Alternatively, the feat can be used early to help survive an alpha strike or the counter punch to an alpha strike.
