    Default Borka: Going from 25 pts to 35 pts

    I'm just starting out and have 25 points of Trollbloods under Borka right now, and I'm trying to think what the best options for expanding up to 35 points are. It's a pretty standard Borka list:

    Borka Kegslayer (+5)
    * Keg Carrier
    * Troll Axer (-6)
    * Dire Troll Mauler (-9)
    Fennblades (max) (-8)
    Fennblades Officer and Drummer (-2)
    Fell Caller (-3)
    Stone Scribe Chronicler (-2)

    I'm thinking I'll add an Earthborn Dire Troll for the last 10 points, especially since he seems to go well with Grim Angus too, whom I'm strongly considering for my second caster. Are there any other gaps in my list I should be looking to fill with those 10 points besides the EBDT?

    Thanks!

    Not sure about running Borka beast-heavy with as he can only leech 5. I'd at least want some Whelps in there for fury management.

    My suggestion would be a second line of heavy hitters. 5 Champions comes in at 10, or min Champs + Skaldi is 9 and you use the leftover point to change the Mauler to an EBDT.

    I would Never EVER get rid of the mauler for a EBDT when you're running full champs. Rage'd champs/skaldi are too good. Far too good. Pow 14 weaponmasters hurt.
    For 10 points, you could also try some Nyss, cause Def 18 Nyss never hurt to have on your side. (Iron Flesh for the win)

    zor, it might just be how you worded it but it sounds like you think Rage affects an entire unit.

    I would say bring the Nyss for a full 10 point unit. The range and speed they have will really help out with flushing a force.

    If you bring champs, go for a min Champs and Skaldi for 9 points. They are a powerful second wave unit and if you have Iron Flesh on them just remember Skaldi cannot counter charge.

    If you have one point left got for the Swamp gobbers!

    It does affect skaldi for 1 round tho. pow 14 weaponmaster on the countercharge. ouch.
    The arguement that X only worked because Y was a terrible player, or any form of this assertion, is never a valid point in forum discussion and should thus be ignored.
