    Default pKaya - 50pts The Wild Hunt

    Hello All,

    I have to admit i was screwing around but i came up with this list that i really like the look off.

    * Gorax (4pts)
    * Warpwolf Stalker (10pts)
    * Warpwolf Stalker (10pts)
    Reeves of Orboros (Leader and 5 Grunts) (5pts)
    Reeves of Orboros (Leader and 5 Grunts) (5pts)
    Wolves of Orboros (Leader and 9 Grunts) (6pts)
    * Wolf of Orboros Officer & Standard (2pts)
    Reeve Hunter (2pts)
    Reeve Hunter (2pts)
    War Wolf (1pts)
    War Wolf (1pts)
    War Wolf (1pts)
    War Wolf (1pts)
    War Wolf (1pts)
    Wolflord Morraig (5pts)

    What do you think?
    The +2 MAT should really help the stalkers as well as the extra forests.
    Plus spirit door should be able to keep them alive if sprint does not work.
    Not really sure if the Gorax is needed but i would like some other fury battery but what could take its place? but then a MAT 10 Stalker could deal with some of the high def infantry...

    The basic idea is to jam with the WoO and War Wolves while the rest pick things off....

    MAybe drop the gorax and a unit of reeves and add a pureblood, for the animus, ghostly and spray. Not sure if you often have room to place two 4'' inch forests, and that many reeves are double the meh. Maybe a wilder for a few warwolves?

    I've been thinking double stalkers is they way to go for pKaya, Mat 8 berserking is fun.

    I'd be interested in seeing this list work or not. I think that with her low fury you either need the gorax to make something frenzy or a wilder to remove fury. I also like the two extra mat but I feel as though you could do this entire list better with eKaya. Her forced evolution and gorax primal can get a Stalker up to Mat 8 and Power 22 Berserk. Or he can wreck any heavy in his path.

    Also this list will have trouble against menoth. Between their anti magic or anti ranged this list loses one main way of victory. That and it has high arm weapon master medium based infantry. No trample, Reeves become useless, and the Stalker doesn't get berserk against them since they have that Matyr ability.

    Legion and Cygnar possess another problem. Better range capabilities. You throw in these and it might cost you your screen or a Scythean comes in.

    I've tried Kaya1 at Tier 2, and that's as far as I'd want to go I think The list I tried was;

    Kaya the Wildborne (+6)
    - Warpwolf Stalker (10)
    - Feral Warpwolf (9)
    - Gorax (4)
    Max Wolves of Orboros (6)
    - Officer & Standard (2)
    Morraig (5)
    Max Bloodtrackers (8)
    - Nuala the Huntress (2)
    Max Wolf Riders (10)

    Going first is a dream, since the WoO get Advance Move, so essentially your Trackers can be 20" up the table (6" AD + 14" run), your Wolves can be 18" up the table (6" Advance Move + 12" run) and your Wolf Riders 18" up the table too, with either the WoO or Wolf Riders being Stealthed.

    It gives your opponent some difficult decisions to make Turn 1, which is awesome

    It's not as bad as all that. They can only protect their 'jacks from non magical ranged attacks. Work in a Pureblood for Wraithbane and you can shoot them all day long. But better yet, shoot the support. Reeves should be able to take out a choir and/or vassals pretty well, especially with forest cover.

    The medium infantry is nice at blocking tramples, but high DEF is a pretty big weakness for them. One attack that misses 50/50 vs DEF 14.

    Also, only one unit has Self Sacrifice. A lot of people make it sound like the entire faction has it.

    Honestly when facing Menoth with an army like this, mass troop killers like the Vanquisher, Redeemer, and Repenter would have a great time. I have an eFeora list that would drool to face something like this.
