Hello,

I'm a 27 years old Tabletop player from Luxemburg.
My first steps to tabletop games began with Warhammer and WH40k. After 11 years of regular playing and painting (more or less mediocre, I prefer to play ) I passed to Dystopian Wars and one day I read about Warmachine. After talking with some friends (one of them already plays) I've been convinced to start.
Being still painting my Malifaux ressurectonists I thought it would be nice to paint something apart and so I decided to, simultaneous start with some Warmachine minis. Unfortunately I'm still not sure whom I tend to play more, Cryx or Cygnar or maybe to look at Hordes (already have both rulebooks at home)...Shame on you Privateer Press, with your wonderful sculpts you made it difficult for me to make a choice... Bravo, well done

Welcome! I hated having to make my decision. I tried the whole "list of pros and cons" and still had 5 armies I wanted to play! And it's not like you can say "well I don't want this army because they models are ugly," because everything looks fantastic.

Having kinda the same problem. I started with Legion becuase we didnt have a Legion player at the store. Now that I'm looking into Warmachine I cant decide on what to play. Too much good stuff. I suggest you keep the games small at first and just go with the models you like.

Welcome to the crew mate this game has a wonderful following of players that are eager to help people out when it comes to the game of Warmachine and Hords.

I would read the following posts first before picking your faction to make sure they lay were you like to play via style as it can get costly in any minni game and trying to make a spoon act like a knife is a pain in the rear. Sense you all ready played other minni games for so long I am sure you know what kind of style of army you tend to naturally want to play. Give these a read to help you make up your mind and as always make sure said faction has models that you like the look of.
