Default 35pt T4 absylonia list what to add or take away?

So here is my list so far

    Absylonia
    Angelius
    Carnivian
    Typhon
    3x shredders
    2x Forsaken

35pt T4 absylonia list what to add or take away? I was thinking either 2 harriers or 2 stingers instead of so many shredders. Or maybe dropping the carnivian for a ravagore and a spawning vessel. Any advice would be super great as I'm still pretty new to the game.

Without Pathfinder, Typhon has trouble keeping up with Absylonia on a terrain heavy board.
Might be better off with a Ravagore and two Shepherds.

    My Absy T4 list is:

    Absylonia

    Shredder x2
    Stinger/harrier (preference)
    Angelius
    Scythean
    Typhon
    Forsaken x3
    Shepherd

Gives you advanced move on all 3 heavies and a ton of fury management. Have also run a version with a Carnivean instead of Typhon, drop the shepherd and 1 forsaken for a Raek. I prefer this version (listed) for the infantry removal that Typhon provides. Also since you are new to the game the additional fury management is very nice. Of course it requires buying a third forsaken that you otherwise wouldn't need.

So now that I have a 35pt t4 I was thinking of adding a seraph and a second Angelius as well as replacing a shredder with a stinger
So the total list would be
    Absylonia
    2x Angelius
    Seraph
    Carnivian (I don't own a Ravagore yet)
    Typhon
    2x shredder
    Stinger
    2x forsaken
    Shepard

    What do you guys think?

I think I still prefer a Scythean instead of a second Angel with her just for the sheer power output it has especially with Carnivore on it against beasts/casters. And at 50 I would definitely get a Ravagore in there as soon as you can.

I´m thinking to go for an Absylonia List too.
At 35 Pts I would take
    Absylonia, Terror of Everblight
    Harrier
    Shredder
    Shredder
    Angelius
    Carnivean
    Scythean
    Blighted Nyss Shepherd
    Blighted Nyss Shepherd
    The Forsaken
    The Forsaken
    The Forsaken

With Forced Evolution an the Shredders Animus you can get a DEF 17 ARM 18 Angelius, which is a real pain. The second Shredders is a backup and a "take your chance"- cruise-missile while the Harrier is an insurance for Absylonia to hit high DEF Models. Carni and Scyth are your damage output battery. The Sheperds and Forsaken are giving you more than enough fury management. Remember to keep the Sheperds out of the Forsakens Abomination Radius.

I'm thinking of running a harrier for the true strike especially combined with the Angelius armor pen the might be one dead caster! But the two Shepards might be out for me for a third forsaken and in your list ( icegrim )you have 1 too many Shepards.

To add to the variety discussion, I've been running:

    Absylonia:
    - Typhon
    - Angelius
    - Ravagore
    - Shredder x3
    - Harrier
    Forsaken x2

And I just learned that Harrier has Sprint, which makes him so much better as a solo-hunter. I may run 2 of each Shredder and Harrier.

The Ravagore helps force your opponent into moving into Charge range, and helps with troop-heavy armies.

Typhon gets Forced Evo to be at Def 16 (with Tenacity). Angel gets Carnivore. Swap around as needed.

I've only created one Absylonia list I thought was truly "bad" and that's when I had:
    - Seraph
    - Angelius
    - Ravagore
    - Raek
Because I couldn't handle any heavies.
    Menoth: 215 pts.
    Legion: 185 pts.
    Mercs: 16 pts.
    Minions: 65 pts.
Models I've actually painted myself: 7

This won't work. The true strike animus is range self, so you can only affect the Harrier or your warlock, and Abby is unlikely to need it.

This won't work either. You're a point shy and only tier two, which is fine if you're happy with that, but the OP said tier four. Also i've never seen anyone run more than one carnivean.

At 35 points i'd run the following:

    Absylonia (+5pts)
    *Angelius
    *Scythean
    *Ravagore
    *Raek
    *Stinger
    *Shredder
    *Shredder
    Forsaken
    Forsaken
    Shepherd
They prowl outside the light of our torches. We cannot see them,
but we know they are there. Every day we wake to find more dead.

    For what it's worth, here's what the Tier 4 I played in my last 35-pointer was;

    Abby (+5)
    *Shredder x4 (8)
    *Angelius (8)
    *Ravagore (9)
    *Carnivean (10)
    Forsaken x2 (4)
    Shepherd (1)

It's not perfect; I'd like to drop the Carni for a Scythean + Forsaken, and replace one of the Shredders with a Stinger. Overall I was fairly happy with it though.

    My 35 T4 that I ran yesterday.
    Abby
    *Carnivean
    *Typhon
    *Angelius
    *3xShredder
    2xForsaken
    Shepherd

I really like how this list plays. You have like was said earlier a DEF 17 ARM 18 Angelius running around that is immune to knockdown.
This is going to give most people problems. On top of that you have a spiny'd Carnivean running around at ARM 20. These two alone can weather a lot of beating.
Then Typhon with excessive healing he is ARM 17 and healing D3 everytime he gets damaged as well as forced regeneration. With all of this your beasts will be able to withstand some punishment.

That being said, I run with Forced Evolution on my Angelius, Carnivore on Carnivean, and Playing God on Typhon.
The Angelius being upped to a P+S 16 AP attack is just beautiful. This guy is going to be your answer to high ARM anything.
Send him to deal with heavy jacks and beasts. He also is your body double tank. As stated earlier DEF 17 ARM 18 is going to be a pain.

With immunity to knockdown you won't have to worry about the head butt negation of that lovely defense, just march him and a shredder spamming Tenacity up the field at your point.
They'll have to worry about it constantly tearing up heavies, clearing objectives with the animus and the assassination threat it poses.

Next up is Carnivean. Him being himself he already handles pretty much everyone and everything you throw him at. Carnivore gives him added melee threat against beasts and heavy infantry.
Assault spraying, or just sprays in general with handle any low DEF high ARM infantry that comes your way, on top of him eating jacks and beasts as he is made to do.
With spamming spiny growth on himself or from Abby, that keeps him up to ARM 20 with his lovely large health pool, taking him out isn't going to be easy either.

Third is Typhon. With reach, open fists, terror, sprays, bites there really isn't much you can't take out with him. Being base DEF 13 ARM 17 isn't much to shake a stick at.
On top of that, he heals up a ton of damage that gets put into him between the animus, his forced regeneration, and I usually have the shepherd following him for more healing.
He is the "squishiest" of your beasts and will take the most fire because of this, so the shepherd is just me being overly protective of him.

The forsaken are my jack of all trades in this list. Great for high DEF low ARM infantry, they're obvious fury management, as well as popping some pain on any beast that's run hot near them.
Also, they are a big deterrent to front running casters and locks as well, as they will feel it if they camp focus/fury and let me sneak one of those buggers near them.

I know I ranted a bit, but wanted to give you some reasoning behind all of my choices. It may not be the best list or reasoning, but this is my 2 cents. Hope it helps!
