    Default Menoth's Minions

What is your faction?s core made of?

Each player sees their faction in their own light but I am looking to help my LGS put together a core list of things to order for the game. I am looking for input from everyone so I can come up with a good profile of what to suggest.

    Lets hear it.

    High Exemplar Kreoss
    Grand Scrutator Severius
    The High Reclaimer
    Crusader
    Vanquisher
    Repenter
    Redeemer
    Revenger
    Choir
    Knights Exemplar
    Temple Flameguard
    Zealots
    Deliverers
    Paladin of the Wall

Edit:It shouldn't need to be said, but the above is just my opinion.

    Edit2: I think I misread the OP's post.

Typical stuff I think you should have in stock at a LGS for Menoth:

    1) Battlebox (and/or 2 player version)
    2) Plastic Jack Kits (both once the second chassis one comes out, is it already released?)
    3) Choir (if still in blisters, carry 1 command blister for every 2 additional guys blister, iirc, they all come 2 models per blister? If repackaged as full units, just carry those instead of blisters)
    4) Each Caster would be nice, but must haves* are: Grand Scrutator Severius, and both Feoras, people will want to play those. High Exemplar Kreoss comes in the battlebox and doesn't really need to be stocked separately. Other casters can be carried in stock in completeness or as a random selection, with special orders for casters not in stock.
    5) Exemplar Errants (the new plastics box, or at least full units)
    6) Exemplar Errants Unit Attachment
    7) Vassals of Menoth, Vilmon, Paladins, Wracks, Nicia and the Covenant are all solos that should move off the shelves, though other than the Vassals you're not likely to sell more than one per Menoth player.
    8) Avatar
    9) Daughters of the Flame

You might also want to occasionally stock:
    A) Knights Exemplar
    B) Temple Flameguard
    C) Zealots
    D) Bastions

    But these are lower priority.

*Harbinger, while a top level Menoth caster, is hard to assemble and can safely be excluded from "Core" models stocked by a LGS, imho.

    <more later, perhaps>

    Some of that is battlebox.

Things I wanted to see in stock at my game store (which I think is what you're getting down to):
    All the warcasters
    Reckoner
    Vanquisher
    Avatar
    Redeemer
    Blessing of Vengeance
    Choir
Vassal of Menoth times a few
    Exemplar Errants and UA

Depending on how much inventory they are willing to carry, using the Menoth players at my shop as an example:

    • 2 Player Battle Box
    • Protectorate Battle Box
    • Plastic Jack Kit (Vanquisher / Crusader / Templar)
    • Plastic Jack Kit #2 (Reckoner / Castigator / Sanctifier)
    • Choir (this comes as a full unit now)
    • Knight Exemplar (Plastic)
    • Exemplar Errants (Plastic, full unit)
    • Exemplar Errant Unit Attachment (blister)
    • Daughters of the Flame
    • Avatar
    • Vassal of Menoth
    • Nicia
    • Harbinger
    • Grand Exemplar Kreoss (eKreoss)
    • Feora, Protector of the Flame (eFeora)
    • Severius

Due to the Plastic kits and plethora of Battle-boxes, I wouldn't bother getting the individual jacks for:
    - Crusader
    - Templar
    - Vanquisher
    - Reckoner
    - Castigator

That will probably max out what a store is willing to hold as inventory if they are just getting into the game. If possible, ask the Protectorate players at your store what they will immediately buy.... definitely cater to their needs, first.
    Menoth: 285 pts.
    Legion: 210 pts.
    Mercs: 21 pts.
    Minions: 82 pts.
Models I've actually painted myself: 10

Mostly what Relgeant said, though I've added a few things. Take things from the top of the lists first, to whatever you can handle. 2 player battle box and protectorate box are, of course, the most basic things to add in.

    Casters:
    *Harbinger
    *pSev
    *both feoras
    *Reznik
*eSev, then A good selection of others, whatever you can fit.

    Jacks:
    *Crusader/Vanquisher/Templar kit
    *Reckoner/Sanctifier/Castigator kit
    *Avatar of Menoth

    *Redeemer
    *Dervish
    *Repenter
    *Revenger/Blessing of Vengence maybe?

    Units:
    *Choir
    *Exemplar Errants
    - with U/A
    *Temple Flame Guard
    - with U/A
    *Daughters of the Flame
    *Knights Exemplar
*If you have room: Exemplar Bastions, Visigoth Roven and crew, then zelots.

    Solos:
    *Vassal of Menoth
    *Wracks
    *Vilmon
*Paladin of the Order of the Wall
    *Nicia
    *Covenant of Menoth
*If you have enough room: Reclaimer, Heirophant, one of the Seneschals.

    Choir
    Zealots + UA
    Temple Flameguards + UA

base for most what I play

just got errants + UA + 2 solos though and they are making it in to most lists

Jacks are a bit more dependent on what caster i play, but reckoner is always solid of course.
There should be something like a cool picture here or a quote about something funny that has been said, but I am lazy -Pixl

    choir and vassal
    2 heavies (no castigator)
    tfg +ua

    are my personal core choices
Painted models do 15% better in game than non-painted models, that's just science!

He is. Sorry, my typo (cut-n-paste error) let drop a secret about PP's next book after Colossals, called Alterniverse...
