Four Plus Tough
That's a nasty list to face with beast-heavy Skorne. I don't know that I'd try Morghoul against PGoreshade anyway, Mage Blight really hurts low-fury casters.
The above is my personal opinion, and in no way should be taken as representative of the overall Skorne community. Even when I claim otherwise.
Skorne on date ... when did Primal Mk I hit again?
oooh banes! That's eGoreshade allright, still a bastard even though he changed his last name![]()
My only comment is that models contacted by a trample, even if you miss the trample attack, cannot make freestrikes against the trampling model. Generally against a clump army like that however, it will be difficult to not pass through some melee ranges on a trample like that. Just be glad they weren't Bane Knights.
Overall, I don't know what I would have done against that army. It's just too many tough models for beasts to chew through. Taking out Tartarus early certainly helped, but Titans just don't have enough DEF to make him absolutely necessary. There is one big exception though, Morghoul himself is basically immune to Banes (they need an 11 to hit). His feat is basically useless against the one throwaway jack, and his weapons are too weak to damage Goreshade when he's camping focus (which he will be, because his spell list is lame and his jack is throwaway). So it comes down to all of your beasts dying to the swarm of Banes, but then the banes are unable to finish the job, but Goreshade is and he's basically immune to Morghoul's weapons. You can't even play cat and mouse with Admonition, because you'll just be surrounded by banes and he'll come right for you.
