This is not productive. Other people may have different reasons for enjoying their faction than you do, which is not a reasonable reason for trying to make them stop.

Because I can look at the historical aspects of the "horselords" and Great Princes and not go "WHY ISN'T HE ON A HORSE THOUGH" I shouldn't be playing Khador.


Listen, I'm glad that those people who wanted Vlad on a horse are happy. I'm just saying that getting Vlad on a horse comes at the expense of other options I think would be more interesting. Epic Karchev, Epic Strakhov, Epic Irusk, Epic Zerkova. Any of these would have been more interesting to me. Even Vlad with a personal retinue of Black Dragon IFP would be more interesting to me than him on a large base with a horse modeled under him. If he'd been a DRAGOON, then yeah, that would have been kind of cool. But he isn't.

We've had large-based 'casters before, without mention of this "enhanced board presence" - see also Kraye, Darius, Karchev, the Harbinger, Terminus.

Really? I think Vlad on a horse is cooler than getting an attachment, though it will be interesting to see how the caster attachments work and what they do. But Khador's been asking for Vlad the Horselord to have a horse forever. Fortunately after seeing August's releases, I think he's really the only must-buy thing for me over the summer when funds are low. Though I do like the avenger, and a witch doctor could be cool... crap.

If he plays nice with the Uhlans, or can take sufficient jacks, that he doesn't need to worry about getting ranged assassinated all day, I will be on board. Otherwise, he is a floating bullet magnet on a large base. I eagerly away rules for yet another model. This is the point where I am looking for a book to be spoiled.... >.> I have had Uhlans for over two years now, but I never finished putting them together as I never field them. =/ I think two were put together before I decided they weren't worth the hassle(partly due to being a pain in the *** to put together like most(?) cavalry). It was a very upsetting 100 dollars that I wasted. It is also why I universally proxy something a couple times before purchasing it now.

I am still really surprised at the lack of spoilers on the cygnar colossal. They would probably get many more preorders if they spoiled it, but instead half of them are waiting for it to be bought and spoiled by someone else.

Have to say I'm not a fan of this new tight lipped PP. One of the things that garnered my respect for this company were things like the Field tests. Keeping us in the dark is somewhat foreboding =C . Hopefully its just the calm before the storm.

But realtalk it wasn't meant as leet speak. I personally dont like the number system since it just seems to be to impersonal with casters I'm extremely fond of. I don't care what anyone else calls him but Nemo is Threemo to me.

I don't see the problem in writing out, say, Asphixious the Hellbringer or General Adept Nemo, but then again I can type... I just still can't believe that "Legend-ary Asphixious" is bad, but "Gaspy 3" is fine...

Yea i'm with you on that. I'd much rather type it out like you did then resort to things like Gaspy3. It just feels wrong.

Honestly, it really doesn't matter what people call them as long as everyone knows which version they're talking about. Me, I use a Greek flavor: αGaspy, βGaspy, or γGaspy.
