    Default 25pt Jarl All-Comers list, does it work?

    Jarl
    Axer
    Impaler
    Mauler
    Runebearer
    Min. Fennblades + UA
    Whelps

    Not sold on the whelps, but with only 2pts left there's not much else to get, I think.

    I actually think dropping the Whelps and Runebearer for max Fennblades would be better. I don't feel that a Runebearer is needed until I have two units, and I feel that support is weaker the less points you play in general.

    Disagree here, but it wouldn't be tragic either. Runebearer is probably the only thing I auto include with Jarl just because of the heavy "Magic Bullet" use. Whelps are not bad, use them to lower Mat on attacks and regen with 3 beats plus the Fury manipulation can help. I like popping them out to block charge paths too.

    If you drop the Whelps I would go with the Chronicler as he can make the Min unit + UA of Fennblades even better

    drop mauler and welps add in EBDT and swamp gobbers

    Looks OK. Not a really good tarpit, though. Cut Whelps and Runebearer. Grab Max Fenns+UA (3 points more), and Gobbers.

    So your list would be:
    Jarl Skuld, Devil Of Thornwood (*6pts)
    * Troll Axer (6pts)
    * Troll Impaler (5pts)
    * Dire Troll Mauler (9pts)
    Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew (Leader and 1 Grunt) (1pts)
    Trollkin Fennblades (Leader and 9 Grunts) (8pts)
    * Trollkin Fennblade Officer & Drummer (2pts)

    I like this build better, though.

    I'd keep that Mauler in your list - it synergies well with your Axer and Quicken. A 12.5" Mauler charge isn't nice.
