Thread: Finally a win

    Default Finally a win

Been playing circle for just a little while. Have had around 7 or 8 games and lost them all. Some where close while others where horrible. My friend helped me out as we played. Correcting me on errors I was making. This allowed me to make a caster kill with Kromec. Thanks again Sam.

    Well done!

The saying down in Texas is the best way to learn is to lose 50 games. Just don't get frustrated. The game is super complex, and takes a lot of time to learn, especially circle.

Gratz! Circle has probably the steepest learning curve in the game so don't get disheartened. A few more losses and you start to get a feel for what the faction can really do.

Good luck in your next few games!

Congrats fellow Druid! I've had my share of harrowing defeats and spectacular wins! Each helps us in its way! I hope you continue to have fun playing Circle and learn much, much more!

I'm right there with you at 0 wins in my first 6 games. I look forward to thinking back on this time and laughing. However, I do agree about the steep learning curve.

it was getting pretty frustrating. Last week I played one game and got slaughtered. Had an option to play again but turned it down at the time. I was just to irritated with myself that I felt I would not make it a fun game for the opponent. Thanks for your words of encouragment.

When first starting circle you have little choice BUT to lose 50 games before you figure out your playing a completely different game lol. I'm sure even the great Will Pagani had moments in which he thought about chewing on his models.

Maybe I should think about moving to Texas then. To the OP congrats on the win. Circle does have a steep learning curve and try not to get frustrated because you will lose a lot. Also kudos on being able to turn down a game if you knew you wouldn't be a fun opponent. Not much worse than playing a game with someone complaining the whole time.

I would never have thought I'd agree with skillt on things, but believe it or not, I married a Texas-born girl. In Finland. Go figure...

I live in the Wash DC area. Not as far as Finland, but my girl is from Texas too. I married her despite the fact that she is a Cowboys fan and I am a die hard Redksins fan!

    So, go Texas??

I won my very first game, with Cygnar, and one my first time with Circle. :P My scene is not super competitive though.

Played in a tournament yesturday and had a great day. I won one out of 3 games but all three where close. Had a caster kill for my one win. Played against a Balder list. By turn three all my warbeast where dead. Went for the caster kill. Got him down to one health before my dice went against me.
