I could change the bastions to cleansers. Or sub them as cinerators. Running two max units of cinerators. I've never played with flame guard cleansers. I could add them and a reclaimer with the 2 points I save from the reckoners, also getting wracks for free. Getting his tier 4 bonus.

Your Rez list is going to have trouble dealing with High DEF low Arm troops.
Maybe, throw a vanquisher in there since they are the same price as the reckoner.
-
By using the cleansers aoe to block the high defense troops from their targets wouldn't that help? Or is a vanquisher more reliable then the cleansers?
The zealots in the pFeora list are iffy. I'm not sure if they are worth taking.

Oh I didnt see cleansers on the list.
I love the crap outta my vanquisher, because its pow 14... So its nothing to scoff at as a sniping tool.
If you think about the reckoner leading off with a flare and then vanquisher into the ground does a ton of damage.
13+2 choir then 14+2 choir is quite a bit of damage.
So basically I have one of each and follow them around with a vassal.

I like the vanquisher also. But if the purpose is to take high defense the incinerate order from the cleanser would be more beneficial then the flame belcher, since it also stays in play as a cloud effect. The Templar I was debating about with ignite he's a 19 pow with reach and beat back. But a castigator would be pow 18 with two initial attacks. Castigator would also benefit from iron aggression when it's in melee with two initials, and two open fists.

I love the castigator too, most people have been going nuts about the templar though.
So anyway, templar get this... if you did IA on the templar, he charges for free with boosted hit. so you could use all your focus to buy extra attacks to beat them back.
So I was thinking choir +2 damage so hes sitting at 19, then IA so he charges for free + free boosted to hit.
So first attack 3d6 + 2 (hits everything) then 3d6 19 + 2 then beat back... then you buy 3 more beat back attacks that is going to open a huge firing alley if used right for your reckoner.
But I agree the castigator is my favorite model for them, so I feel the love for him. He also provides infantry clearing with this one ability....
The only reason the incinerate order, I find to be lack luster unless im taking two min amounts. The people with high def + low armor are suuuppperrr fast and just run / charge around them.

I love the beat back on the templar. But throwing a model into another just makes me giddy. The castigator with choir support is pow 18 with IA that's two attacks at 3d6. Without spending focus. Could buy one or two and scrap the jack/beast. Think I just sold myself on the castigator. =D
