Welcome! There are some great game stores in the area -- Area 51 in Grapevine is probably the closest to you. It's a bit of a drive, but it's a really great community of dudes out there. We play on Tuesdays (and there's usually a group of gamers there on Fridays, too).
Since you're in Denton, will you be making it to the ReaperCon this weekend? I'm starting to think I may end up going on Friday and/or Saturday.
By the way, we don't have many Gators out at A51 (in fact, I don't think any of the regulars play Blindwater), so we won't be ready for any of your surprises

I know I'm late to the party, but it's cool to see another north Texas wargamer. We have a group over in Plano, but I agree with schnauzerface that area 51 is going to be your best bet. If you haven't gone yet.

i'm in grand prairie and have been wanting to head up to area51 for 40k, but i just got introduced to warmachine, so i'll be heading up there to get a couple "training" games in. anyone going here soon?

There's always Warmachine players on Tuesdays. Several of us also frequent on Friday evenings and even Saturdays. I normally pop in almost every day since Area 51 is on my way home from work
