Default New player Denny1 Tier3 list. 25 points

This is the first list I've drawn up, so want to know if I'm barking up the wrong tree anywhere before I buy some models. Will probably proxy it tomorrow.
I've got the battlebox and only played games vs PoM battlebox and Khador Man-O-Wars/Jack or their battlebox. I like to go for the assassination asap.

    pDenny +5

    Ripjaw 5
    Ripjaw 5
    Stalker 4
    Stalker 4
    Defiler (free)

    Necrotech + Scrap Thralls 1
    Warwitch Siren 2
    Warwitch Siren 2
    Scarlock Thrall 2

    Min Bile Thralls 5

Questions, are the Stalkers any good in a pair, if not I could slot in Deathrippers?
I think the idea here is DEF debuffs coming from everywhere plus all the SP attacks that have no target in melee penalties.

    Scarlock Thrall a must have?
I hear good things about the Pistol Wraith, would two of those be better than the Bile thralls and Necrotech/Scrap Thrall in going for the throat?

A pair of pistol wraiths are good with pDenny, esp. in a pop and drop format, but you'd need to cut a point after dropping the Biles.
Skarlock is not a 'must have', but it can be good as a Ghost Walk dispenser for a large unit, and 'maybe' endgame spell slinging.
In my experience with her theme list, I use a Skarlock to Ghostwalk Heavy jacks...but that's not what you are going for.

Stalkers are decent for this list, coupled with her MAT debuffs, its high DEF, and multiple attacks, they are a decent option, you already have 3 Arc Nodes in the list.

Let me just say, this kind of list is 'quite' different than normal. You do not have a tarpit unit.
You do not have the flexibility of what units bring.
You are playing a loose list that is primarily looking to win via Assassination...which is alot of what the game is about, but you really can't apply pressure to make the opponent commit (esp. if they have ranged optiosn) and you really can't take and hold objectives as well as non-theme lists.

The only problem I have with this list is the lack of a Threat Lane that a pressure- oriented unit would bring, like Mechanithralls, who also act as a cheap (as in: "Cheapest 10- man unit in the game" cheap) tarpit, but can also drop Heavy Warjacks in a single turn, especially with Denny's debuffs, even MORE so in a 25 point game.

Here's a quick edit to your list I did off the top of my head (includes model purposes), see if you like it:

    pDenny
    -Skarlock
-Deathripper x2 (Cheaper way to feed your Tier requirement, arc nodes)
-Stalker x2 (Good assassination pressure option, I kept them in)
    - Ripjaw (Free, offers its damage if needed, arc node, this free spot can be replaced by either a Defiler/Nightwretch for dealing with infantry if needed)

Mechanithralls x10 (Tarpit unit, can dish out heavy damage with combo strikes, high # of bodies can overwhelm in low point games. Bile Thralls are better in a point level like 35+, where they can be used to take out more infantry)
-Brute Thrall x1 (Heavy Hitter, 8 wound, 1 point brawler that aids to the unit's Tarpitting, also, who doesn't love a P+S 19 Combo Strike?)

Pistol Wraith (For chain attack model control, solo hunting)
Necrotech (Replace with a Machine Wraith or a second Brute Thrall if you want)
Warwitch Siren (For Tier benefit, also great early- turn jack support)

    25/25, Tier 3.

(Though if I was making a list from scratch for pDenny, I wouldn't bother with her Tier List, but that's just me).

Thanks for the rewrite, I love it. Had thought about Mechanithralls, I thought they might have been out of place. What do I need to watch out for with them and how best to use them?

They're an expendable tarpit unit that can wreck heavies. As our "staple" unit, they're never out of place.

Their only weakness is guns, lots of them, and AoE's. Try not to clump them close together. Brute Thralls supplement some of this by drawing fire, as no one in their right mind will willingly let a Brute Thrall smash into something with its Combo Strike on a charge.

In such a small game, the amount of bodies they can bring makes a huge difference. 10 of them + 1 Brute Thrall is only 6 points, and with a base Pow 15 Combo Strike each, and a pow 19 Combo Strike on a Brute Thrall, if they're left to go after a heavy, it's going to die. Especially when pDenny can give that Jack, on her feat turn + Parasite, a grand total of -5 ARM.

Even if they are focused down, they're drawing your opponent's attention, which is their main job anyway. Don't expect them to live very long, but don't play them suicidally. That just means don't be surprised if they die, they're very squishy, but very, very cheap. And because they're so cheap, even if them dying ties up your opponent some how, they've already payed back their points. Them taking out a heavy Warjack can sometimes nearly double that payback, at minimum equaling out the cost of the unit.
