    Default pKrueger 35 battlegroup

I've been tailoring a pKrueger 35 point list for an upcoming Divide and Conquer tournament. Namely the battlegroup. The idea is to have infantry hate (of course), and the ability to take out the 1 powerful jack or high armor caster that usually accompanies the infantry list. The hard target hitting means Krueger is doing the lifting for Chain Lightning instead of geomancy, which I find reasonable. Switching to geomancy is for another list discussion.

    Krueger the Stormwrath -5
    -Gorax 4
    -Feral Warpwolf 9
    -Pureblood Warpwolf 9
    Druids of Orboros 7
    min Wolves of Orboros 4
    Blackclad Wayfarer 2
    Wolflord Morraig 5

Pureblood gives ghostly, and Wraithbane will be great for ignoring the defensive buff that often comes with infantry lists (Iron Flesh).

    Krueger the Stormwrath -5
    -Gorax 4
    -Woldwyrd 5
    -Feral Warpwolf 9
    Druids of Orboros 7
    Shifting Stones 2
    -Stone keeper 1
    min Wolves of Orboros 4
    Blackclad Wayfarer 2
    Gallows Grove 1
    Wolflord Morraig 5

Woldwyrd punishes the buffed unit with Purgation and adds more ranged vectors with Krueger himself. Stones allow for the the Blackclad to be a lightning rod then teleport back to safety.

I've played a game with each list, and will briefly describe what the changes meant for each game.

    List 1: Pureblood (vs. Retribution)
The pureblood didn't accomplish much, sprayed down a few infantry and held a flank. His low RAT really hurt against the naturally high defense of solos and skirmisher units (MHSF). Holding the flank was 3 points up, 2 units that couldn't kill him tied up. The board didn't require ghostly for the Feral.

    List 2: Wyrd (vs. Cryx)
The Wyrd did well, missed a key shot but ended up hitting the caster with Admonition up to great effect. There was a central forest, and the Feral became stuck behind it. Stones did not contribute much to this game.

So with the small amount of 2 data points, it seems largely board dependent, basically if I need ghostly or not. I'll give a battle report after I play in the tournament, and continue this discussion then. Until then, any thoughts or ideas from the dojo on which list to take would be great.
