    Default 35/50 point Siege List

This is a list I've been playing for a while in the 35/50 point events. I've won 3 coins so far this year with it. (1-1st, and 2-2nd).

    35 point

    Siege (+5)
    -Defender (9)
    -Squire (2)
    -Reinholdt (1)

    Gun Mages (6)
    + The Dude (2)
    -Defender (9)
    Black 13 (4)
    Strangeways (2)
    Rangers (5)

It's pretty straight forward, and it's all about assassination. I know there are some issues with the list, but I've been very good with it.

    50 point

    Siege (+5)
    -Defender (9)
    -Squire (2)
    -Reinholdt (1)

    JWC (3)
    -Hunter (6)

    Gun Mages (6)
    + The Dude (2)
    -Defender (9)
    -Hunter (6)
    Black 13 (4)
    Strangeways (2)
    Rangers (5)

The addition of the hunters, and one with snipe really screw with people.

I placed second Saturday in a 50 point tournament because I should have added a Cyclone, instead of that second Defender to help beat back Bane spam.

How does this list do against hordes. I want to run something similar but haven't had a chance yet. Is the idea to keep things out of melee or am I missing the melee in the list due to newbness

The list does well against gators, skorne, and trolls. I haven't encountered Circle yet, and our Legion player is really good, and I haven't been able to beat him. I am trying again tomorrow with the 50 point list (The 50 point list was just revised last week.)

The point is to keep out of melee. With the squire, you get a 14 inch Control Area, and you should be able to make your assassination run then.

This is a pure Alpha Strike list. I am thinking about dropping one of the Defenders for a Cyclone, to help with the spam list.
