I'm going to play a T4 list for old Baldur at an upcoming event and was looking for suggestions on filling it out.
The minimum T4 requirements are as follows:
- Baldur the Stonecleaver (0 / 6 WB)
- Megalith - 10 pts
- Druid Stoneward & Woldstalkers - 5 pts
- Druid Stoneward & Woldstalkers - 5 pts
- Sentry Stone & Mannikins - 3 pts
- Shifting Stones - 2 pts
- Stone Keeper - 1 pts
Techinically the Stone Keeper is not required, but it's an auto-include for me with the shifting stones and I'm grateful that I only have a few tier-friendly options to choose from. That leaves me 5 points to spend.
I have a few options left in the tier, but I'm convinced I need to fill that spot with a light warbeast, either a Woldwatcher or Woldwyrd. If I don't, I'll be starved for fury. Even with the beasts, fury could easily become an issue.
That said, which beast would you recommend? They're both attractive options. I'd lean towards the Woldwatcher if I wanted another bodyguard for Baldur, some melee attacks, or thought I might be able to fertilize some forests for Baldur to walk in. Alternatively, the Woldwyrd will kill some stuff at range and threaten some magic users. The problem is that I have yet to play with this list, so I don't know which option it needs more. It already seems strong at ranged and there aren't many melee attacks. At this rate, I won't decide until the last minute.
Any comments or suggestions, would be appreciated!
