Blight Bringer: Costs 4, Range 10 and you can only target a warbeast in Saeryn?s battlegroup. When you cast the spell, center a 5 inch aoe on the targeted warbeast. Enemy models in the aoe suffer a boosted pow 12 corrosion roll. The aoe stays in play and enemy models or friendly non-faction models entering or ending their activations in the aoe suffer 1 damage.

As an aside, the articles are useful. Being relatively new to the faction, it's good to see tacticas on various casters and strategies. Though in the Menoth forums, they aren't in a 3rd party site.

Nice! just read the article. Saeryn is one of my favriot locks to play in steam roller. Alas she has become a crutch for me and my pratice group was starting to get tired of that baby seal clubbing. So im taking a break from her, vayl2 and lylyth2 for a bit.

Again I really enjoy the look and writing style of your article. can I throw my vote in for more vayl 1 or thagrosh 2 they have been my favorite clubbing buddies lately

I have been working on some vayl1 lists and doing a ton of theory crafting for thags2. Add that with sone math for manifest destiny...there will be more articles about them. But my next article is already done and will be out soon.

I have looked at your threads but I wasn't sure if my current thoughts would be helpful. I am trying Vayl1 Ravagore heavy (super ranged game with incite to make them pwn if you run to engage) and Angelius heavy (Vayl awesomeness with the added scenario threat) but I have settled into anything. I want to play around with it more. I felt like your directions are really solid, and 35 points is funky to build. My locals play quite a bit of 35 points but right now I am practicing for lock and load...so all 50 points.

Thags2...I love this guy. I want to play him but I don't want to go shredder/assasination. I feel like he has the game but I can't seem to get his lists where I want them. It always feels like it is 1-2 points off from being good enough. Or it just feels like another lock would run the list better (like vayl1) but I am determined to get my head wrapped around him. I will definately do an article when I get to that point.

Actually your right on the same track as me. My list is a mix of both below is the list im steam rolling sunday but after the event I'm going to try a double ravagor typhon list as a diffrent all comers list for next months turney. Also 35. I want to play more 50 but I play to pratice for my next turney.

Since I'm bringing both thags2 and vayl1 sunday I needed to address a lack of typhon and I feel that the carnivean did this well. Its got a solid animus for thags to get him up to arm19 and scourging assult targets is good fun. "Oh yes my rat 4 pow 14, 10" eyeless sight spray needs not snakes to hit. Last week I cleared a whole unit of gators between scourge and spray. I think shredder swar is meh but your not playing him right with out a few I like between 5 and 7. At 50 toss in legionnaires and a vessal (eventually failor and flag) at 50 and you have a list with some absured armor and melee threat to boot. Here is the list im steam rolling sunday to back up vayl1
