I was wondering if that thing will be in Plastic soon. I would really like one but i'm not buying it in its current form.

Unlikely. It isn't quite as hard to make an upgrade kit as it would be for the Fire of Salvation, but there is still a lot of extra detail on the Guardian that you don't get with a regular Crusader.

I doubt it. It's a Crusader chasis and the extra bits don't just slip on like the Character kits.

I bought it and added bits from the Plastic kits. I gave it new legs and the arc node from the revenger. The plastic leg really improved the look and it fits in alot better.

I agree that it's not the prettiest of models. I wonder how hard a conversion would be. I would think that the brass plates on the shoulders would be the hardest part. The spear and banners are not particularly complex, and the Arc Node is the same as a Revenger's (little bigger). Otherwise it's basically a crusader.

Here's something you could do.

Buy the Guardian Head, Right Arm, Spear Tip, and both Flags ($10 in the parts store).
Attach to plastic kit, or mag out.
Greenstuff details to taste.

You could probably even skip the arm and spear and make a spear to mag out on your own. The it's just the head and you can put ins in the banners to swap in/out.

I also got some plastic legs for him from Hoard o Bits. Helps resolve the "laughably small midget legs" problem of the original.
